Good Mood Ranch is a family-friendly farm that offers a variety of activities for children, including animal interactions, playgrounds, and train rides. The primary purpose of the ranch is to provide an enjoyable experience for families, allowing them to pet and feed animals while engaging in fun activities. The business focuses on creating a joyful atmosphere for visitors of all ages.
My son and I truly enjoyed every moment of our visit from the animals to the little train rides, the ponds, the dinosaur area, and all the fascinating vintage displays from different time periods. Each section offered something unique, making it a great experience overall. We even got to feed the animals, which was such a highlight! The owner was incredibly energetic and friendly, adding a special touch to the whole visit.
We had so much fun with our kiddos (4 and 1 year old). Everything is so taken care of. We fed the animals, the goats were so happy and fun! A lot of fun things to do with the kids. Zip line, swings, a few playgrounds. We went in the morning right when they opened and were the only ones there. Will come back for sure! Thank you so much for a great experience! We will definitely be back!
Absolutely a hidden gem. Perfect for kids and adults of all ages. There are mini tractors kids can ride around, and other peddling carts. They have a train that circles the pond, goats, rams, alpaca or llamas, donkeys, cows, bunnies, ducks, birds and guinea pigs. They allow you to pet and feed them all. Free for kids under 4, and a very reasonable entrance fee. Its mainly grass, but its wheelchair accessible if you dont mind pushing a bit. Theres also a nice concrete pad with a children's play area and a swing set and manual water pumping station to play with. Definitely will be back. But most importantly, theres a petition you can sign online, to keep it open and running. The county is trying to build houses on this beautiful farm.
This place is absolutely horrendous. Grazing animals, such as the cows and donkeys, have absolutely zero access to hay. While I was there, I observed several animals with no food or water. I also counted over 40 Guineapigs ranging from newborns to adults all sharing small enclosures. It is very obvious that they are in bread. When I asked if they had any intentions on separating the males from the females they said no. All of the animals appear to be in terrible condition. They are extremely underweight. I called and made a formal complaint with the department of agriculture and they told me that it is currently under investigation and that several people have filed complaints with them. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE! This may look like a cute place for you to bring your children and pet some cute animals but what you need to understand is that these animals are not merely on exhibit. What you’re looking at is their permanent enclosures. These animals are grossly mismanaged.
It's a dream place for families. The kids are happy. We held a corporate event for the families, and they loved it. The perfect place to share. Karen's service is super special. She's attentive, and her staff was always ready to help us with the event. The kids had an incredible time! We're delighted with the attention to detail in each of the spaces!
Great hidden gem outside of the city. Slow paced. Nice place for your kids to burn energy at with all the endless things to ride, play on and see. They’ve got a ton of animals to pet and feed. Very welcoming staff and you can roam the ranch as you please.
Not worth the price. Admission is $20 per person, but the experience was underwhelming—mostly old toys on display. What concerned me most was the poor condition of the animals. Very disappointing.
The animals are in terrible condition. Chickens are overcrowded. All of them with missing feathers and red inflamed rears which means they’re likely self-harming or bullying each other. Cow looked too skinny to me Guinea pigs appear to inbreed in an overcrowded cage. Guessing the plan there is just have them reproduce enough to cover the ones that die daily The rabbits looked like they were overheating. The pond was disgusting and I didn’t see a duck or goose touch the water. There is a pen where kids can be in an open area with a couple of goats and rabbits. In there was a group of small girls terrorizing these two rabbits who were clearly stressed. Saw one girl drop the rabbit who smacked its head on the metal bike in the pen. The whole concept and all of the cool little mini activities gives this place so much potential, but unfortunately, the poor animal conditions mean we won’t be coming back.
This ranch has so much potential. We brought the kids here for the Easter egg hunt. We paid $18 each even for the kids and the kids only got one egg with a ring which was not even unisex. They should consider having food trucks and more things for the price paid.
My boys and girls scout group met here today for a fun filled day. Honestly was not expecting all the activities that the Good Mood Ranch has to offer. The animals were friendly especially the free roaming cats. Karen and Dolores were super nice and extremely helpful through the whole time at the farm 🚜. Thank you again, you will be seeing me soon! 😊
We loved it! They have a train, a carousel, a zip line, tractors little tykes can ride and go karts, as well as lots of animals to feed and hold.

My son and I always have so much fun. We have been going since they open. They have train rides, rock digging kits (that you can put in the water to search for geo rocks), bounce houses, a playground and so much more. Whenever we go we spend hours there. We also love feeding the animals and holding the bunnies.
