Good Hope Farmstead

The meat is very good. Had the sweet Italian Sausages that are a favorite. Have had the lamb, other sausages, pork and beef which all had great flavor. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is better than any major grocer. The ladies at the Rockville Farm Market are fabulous, very knowledgeable and efficient. Worth a visit.

I just tried Good Hope Farmstead beef products. Purchased hamburgers, kabob meat, chip steak, thor's hammer, and some knuckles. The hamburgers were amazing, hardly shrank and tasted great. The kabobs were tender and tasted amazing. Last thing we tried was to make jerky out of the chip steak -- which turned out amazing. The delivery was right on time (and if you can't be there, just leave a cooler on the front area of your house). NET: Great products, great prices for grass fed beef, and very nice people. Highly recommend (I know I will be ordering more)

Everything I’ve gotten from Good Hope Farmstead is delicious! I’ve tried both the sage and maple sausage, the sage is my favorite so far. I’ve also tried duck eggs for the first time. I was skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised to find out they don’t taste different than chicken eggs. I’ve made them fried and scrambled and what you get is just delicious and hearty. The owners are also lovely, and you can tell that they are really passionate about offering quality products.

I have been buying meat from Good Hope Farmstead for many months now, and I highly recommend them. Their quality and selection is excellent, and I love that you can get meat without added nitrates. The meat is delicious and well worth buying. Jennifer was recently kind enough to give me a tour that lasted more than an hour. It's a beautiful farm, and the animals look healthy and happy. They have ducks, sheep, chickens, cows, and pigs. I met Travis at the farmers market and also when he delivered meat to my door. You can order and pay online, and if you live within a certain radius and buy at least a certain amount, you can get free delivery. So buying from them has been just as convenient for me as any other kind of shopping. Jennifer and Travis (I think they are siblings) are two of the kindest and most knowledgeable people I have ever met. They are always smiling and glad to answer any question in detail. It is obvious that they love their animals, their customers, and their business. I am proud to be supporting a local business that practices the humane and sustainable raising of farm animals. Great meats, good prices, and friendly people. The Kreitzer family brings it all to our Farmer's Market, and even makes special deliveries sometimes. If you stop and talk to them, you'll want to try something. You'll be back...
