Golick's Meat Market

I've heard from many sources that they only come on the days the owner is grilling. It's not an actual grocer, though there are a few meats and preserved items for sale inside. I stopped by on my way home for a post-workout snack. I saw Mike grilling and I knew by the crowd of people that I needed to try it before my time in the Quad Cities is up. He suggested the ribeye sandwich. Once he got my order, I was directed inside to get a plate, bun, and fixings. The ribeye is sliced extremely thin so it takes almost no time to cook. And, it was perfection! The meat was so juicy, yet so thin and tender, and the seasoning was on-point! It was the perfect amount of protein and carbs for post-workout recovery, but I'd damn near get that every day if he would be out there more often. So good!!! Highly recommend! He takes cards but cash is easier. Super sweet guy and very proud of his meats. His family has owned that building for a long time. It's a well-loved neighborhood staple. Check it out!

At lunch time out on the corner off bridge they set up a grill outdoors and let me tell ya ..so you go inside make your plate with the bun and your likings then take it outside to were your food is being cooked !! Damn the seasoning and hott right off the grill ..I go back 3-4 times a week sometimes if I'm close by

Amazing side walk grill serving the best rib eye sandwiches. Such an old time place it is a throwback to the old butcher market. Mike will bring his food truck to your work and it is delicious

Super friendly staff. If you have a chance to stop by when they are grilling, the ribeyes are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I can't recommend it enough.

Great neighborhood meat market with an awesome grill during lunch time! If you live in the area, I would hope by now you've stopped in for some cuts of meat for your grill at home. Stopped In on a hunch a bought a ribeye roast. It was the best cut of meat that I have had in Iowa. Next week I'll be ordering meat bundle. The prices are amazing ☺️

If I could rate this a .1 star i would. I only came to this store, to give my cat some meat. I wanted it to be his last meal on his deathbed. The name of this store is Golicks and I was not able to lick any of the meat. Very angering.

I had the ribeye sandwich and it was very delicious. The setup is very old school but delightful.

This place is great, catch some food off the grill and you wont regret it. Priced very fair too.
