GlennArt Farm focuses on providing unique experiences related to goats, including goat yoga classes and educational tours of native plants. The farm has shifted away from selling raw goat milk and now emphasizes personal interactions with their Nigerian Dwarf goats in a community-oriented setting. Their offerings cater to both city and suburban visitors looking for enjoyable and healthy entertainment.
Such a wholesome experience! David and his wife really takes great care of their goats. We had such a great time visiting and doing a Goat Chill. Don’t let the location discourage you, it’s a Chicago Hidden Gem worth checking out!
I highly recommend the goat chills at GlennArt Farm, one of the more unique things to do in the city. 3 milking goats, 5 babies and 5 mini goats running around... dont think much more needs to be said
Loved visiting the baby and mama goats! Can’t wait to return soon. And it’s a quick drive from downtown Chicago.
Best and most awesomest folks in Chicago. The goats are nice, too 🙂 🐐 …
This is a great nugget in Midway Park. Need to connect with hoofs and cuteness. Then this is the place for you.
Cute little urban farm! We did a goat chill (there were 4 of us) and had a great time. It’s clear the goats are loved and cared for. There were several kids and they were so soft and cute. We brought snacks, but were also given some veggies to feet the goats. Some chairs were provided too but it was more fun to see the kids hop up and down off them. A great way to spend an afternoon.
Great experience! Do not be worried about location, my family and I were apprehensive at first but we quickly realized we were in for a memorable time. David clearly loves his goats and neighborhood. Goats were very friendly & active... this is a must-do activity if you are living or visiting Chicago. Thank you David, Carolyn, and Andrea (yoga instructor)!
Yoga with goats – it’s one of the best experiences and emotions I have received! David and Carolyn take a very good care of their goats and. This is the only one farm in the City of Chicago and David and Carolyn are contributing a lot to their neighborhood and the city of Chicago itself with their hard work! I bought a quart of raw, delicious and healthy goats’ milk and fresh happy-chicken eggs! So happy that I found this place. I would highly recommend to come and enjoy being around goats and baby-goats and try what the farm can offer!
This urban goat farm has above all the mission to serve the west side community, but I'm sure glad they're there to sell raw, unpasteurized goal milk to anyone who wants it! Their yogurt is yummy too. I made great ice cream out of the milk with no need for heavy cream. GlennArt Farm has many other products. AND they have wonderful FREE gatherings in the spring and fall. A fun place just to visit. The owners are friendly and hard working.
My son and I had a ball! Very accommodating hosts, lovely time interacting with the goats - feeding and playing with them, observing the chickens lay eggs. Will definitely return.
I spoke with David to setup a Goat Chill for my girlfriend and I. His communication was phenomenal and we ended up working out a time that worked for both of us. David and his wife were really hospitable and we got to hang with baby goats …
GlennArt Farm was an amazing experience for me, to live in the City and have a place like this to visit is wonderful. I would suggest, if you haven't visited this farm, do yourself a favor and do so. The owners were very open, welcoming and informative. Get there before the end of summer.
amazing and such kind people! They LOVE their goats. They help underprivileged youth and team up with a bakery who employs disabled adults. affordable. Yoga is easy but let’s be honest it’s about the goats.
I just called the number on the website listed under the "contact" page if you have questions. I assumed that's what I should/could do since it's right there on their page saying to do so. When I did, the lady answered and said she …
Absolutely wonderful fresh goat milk. I made yogurt and it was the best I ever had. I'll make chevre next. Super nice folks and porch pickup available. A hidden gem in the city, located in an historic area.
I’ve bought fresh unpasteurized goat milk all season and we’re talking happy fresh goat milk. Feed it to my cats everyday as part of their raw diet and they’ve put on healthy weight with even more active personality. …
Amazing place for goat yoga. So friendly and kind--the people and the goats!
David was very responsive and helpful when booking a time to see the goats. We had a great time hanging out and feeding the goats for an hour, would highly recommend!
First time trying raw goat milk. It’s fantastic! And very reasonably priced. I’m using it for post workout recovery after hard training. The nutrient profile is perfect. High protein and high fat and 50+ vitamins and minerals.
We had the most wonderful experience with this great group of people and goats at GlennArt! They were so hospitable and the baby goats are the CUTEST!
