Great place for fresh local meats and cheeses.

George Farms makes you proud to be a native Pennsylvanian! Beautiful farm, top quality butchered meats, both frozen and fresh. They have the largest inventory of fresh meats for sale I’ve ever seen at a local farm. The beef tastes delicious. Ask for a pound of suet and melt it down turn it into tallow for cooking. You’ll thank me later!

George Farms did an incredible job on the 1/2 beef I purchased. They cut, packed, vac sealed and labeled it. They are customer oriented and aim to please. You know you are dealing with a quality butcher shop when they sell pickled tongue and scrapple.

Thank you George's for the most delicious black diamonds. I brought them to New York and we had a cookout everyone raved and asked where I got them. You will be getting some new customers. Very delicious!!😋😋 …

Great place to have meats cured, best beef jerky in PA. The hours are tough but I like that they butcher and sell, not just recycling meats everyday in the cases. Georges should capitalize on the true farm to table feel with this place but stay too the root and just sell quality meats. Seriously you have to buy the bacon in 5lb increments. Check um out!

Great butcher shop. I have not bought food from the butcher counter but on three occasions we have used them to butcher a quarter or half a cow we have bought from a local farmer. We were rookies at buying bulk beef when we first had one process through them. They have been very helpful at talking us through what we would like out of the butchering process. Very easy to work with. And very reasonable prices. I hope my regular farmer continues to work with George's farms in the future.

Bought a pork belly and made porchetta for Christmas. It was wonderful. Only problem there were no leftovers. Everyone loved it. Will be buying ALL of my meats from him.

Good meat, generally very helpful people, but today I had a strange experience with one of the sellers- the younger woman who would take payment from buyers, then handle meat without gloves. The owners need to pay more attention to the culture of meat handling. Thank you.

We travel 475 miles 2 times a year to fill a cooler and supply our MI family with the best bologna and scrapple ever!!! Thank you George's. Stay safe!

George’s Farms was recommended by a coworker, so we decided to try it. We waited in line for 25 minutes as only 4 people were allowed in the store at a time as that was understandable with the recent world events. The sign on the door asked for you to be masked to enter but none of the workers wore masks. The women who waited on us was very rude and it seemed like we were bothering her. After we checked out, I apologized for taking so long and asking questions as this was our first time at their business but she walked away without a word. Not sure if we would go back but if we do we will make sure not to have the same person wait on us. Not a pleasant first experience.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Love the scrapple and meat sticks

Google

pros clean friendly staff I think this is the best smoked ham around I have tried meat markets in Catawissa over to Lewisburg and I really like the ham its either them or maybe massers the pickled bologna is the best around except for maybe the pickled at pittmans in pittman pa the Hawaiian sausage is good has a ham taste could use some sesame or ginger or more pineapple. it has more ham taste then hawaiin but still good. my parents say this is the best scrapple around they have sausage patties not just links they have ham sticks that are one of the best sticks around 2nd to only kowaloeks in Shenandoah they had a jalapeno sauerkraut that's good cons none really not as big a beef selection they used to have real ham the ham they make and they sliced it thin but they do not have it any more? or at least the nice lady working there did not know if it. It was real ham sliced thin and tasted GREAT. NOT LUNCH MEAT

I have used this butcher in the past for pig processing. They are not nice and won’t do anything to accommodate special requests. In addition, everything tastes like an ashtray full of smoke. Would not recommend to anyone.

Cheaper then a grocery store. You know you are getting real meat. And it is good meat. I bought a small steak at Weis market and it was really tough and not over cooked.

Google

This is the crown jewel for all types of fresh cut.meats and cheese. Thier scrapple is by far the best that I have ever had and the beef sticks as well. It's a 50 mile drive but I will return.

The lady that waited on us was a little rude. Not a people person. I felt like i was bothering her to wait on us. Just not a good experience. Meat was nothing amazing compared to my local butcher shop either. Wont go back.
