Galli Family Farm

The chicken I bought from Galli Family Farms was the best chicken I’ve ever had. I’m a lifelong home cook and have been buying organic meat for decades. Flavorful meat, fatty skin ln that crisped beautifully while being slowly rendered at a lower temperature. My friends, world travelers and good eaters also said it was the best they’d had. On top of that I received the warmest welcome at their stand imaginable. What a wonderful group of hardworking people.

We stopped by on a Sunday hoping that they would be open and the owner was right outside and welcomed us so warmly when we asked if he had anything for purchase. We got a chicken as well as a duck (freezing that for Christmas). He introduced us to a bunch of the animals and walked us through the different chickens and how they’re being raised. We cooked our chicken over a fire that night with just salt and pepper and holy moly!!! This is chicken times 10! The flavor was so insane, even the breast meat was perfect. Needless to say we went back to the farm the next day to bring another chicken back to the city to cook next month. We will definitely be getting meat from here whenever possible. Can’t recommend this farm more!

I am so pleased to have this wonderful farm in the heart of the Catskills near by. My family have enjoyed with enormous appreciation the delectable chicken and duck with an incredible rich flavor you can only get with free range organic birds. The family works hard to create a fine product and fully succeed. We also enjoy their very fine Challah, a real treat.

I ordered a duck last week from the Gallis' and it was amazing! I roasted the the duck whole, and it came out absolutely delicious! I love getting fresh meat and knowing the family and basically getting to pick out my duck doesn't get any better than that. Thank you So much! cannot wait to get more in the future and for my Turkey on thanksgiving!

Awesome local farm selling a variety of free range animal products and fresh eggs. We bought a chicken for grilling and it was some of the best I've ever had. Joe, the owner, is a very nice guy who sold us the chicken and showed us around his farm. Would definitely come back.

As you ride up to the farmhouse, the chickens, ducks, goats roam the fields as if they own this piece of the world. The heart of the farm is the people who care for the land and animals and the love they put into raising their animals. They produce eggs, chickens, Cornish hens, turkeys, and Challah bread, and each item has an unbelievable, fresh taste. I cannot tell you how delicious the food is; I can only ask you to try it and see. I keep coming back, and so will you!

I have had the pleasure of enjoying many products offered at Galli Family Farm. From their eggs, turkey, duck, chicken and challah everything is delicious! The chicken was the best I have ever had anywhere. The turkey was beyond delicious. The Galli's truly have the best organic products around.

*Perfect* Challah (and we should know; we have spent years buying Challah in New York City and the Boston suburbs). Strongly recommend the Organic eggs. A fun farm to visit for the whole family (don't miss the goats)!
