Went in to purchase some goat meat and cube steaks. The butcher and the only other person in the store did not speak or understand English. I did not speak Spanish. My husband called before and spoke to the owner. He spoke English but was not there that day. Seems like an odd way to run a business that caters to English speaking customers. They serve Hispanics primarily. We got by because I remembered the word for goat that I read one time.
The food and the service was great. They were kind, thoughtful and amazing cooks. Great food and flavors of old Mexico. They also have a full butcher and grocery store that feels like Guadalajara! We had a chicken platter and carnitas platter. Awesome job ladies.
I am a white girl that was Latina in another lifetime 😅😅😅😅. The food is really wonderful! Authentic and very well seasoned perfect if you're having a craving for a wonderful meal. Chicken and guacamole we're on point! I have to say this is my new favorite place 😉 Definitely a little gem in the treasure valley! The staff we're all wonderful and kind. My daughter loves the burritos and the chicken. Definitely going back!
If you want real carnitas, this is the place to go. Their full chicken is exceptional and the staff are great. They may not speak English too great, but you'll manage. If you feel like eating there, the food is again, awesome! I've been going here for three yrs and I've never been disappointed.

The real Mexican Experience no passport needed! The food (especially the Tortas Con Carnitas) is always good and staff are very nice (greet with smile and make sure all's well). Met the boss he has looked out for me when no one else did and he cares for this community like no other (Free Toy Drives, etc.) The music adds to the experience as I can't decide whether to eat or to sing along to every song they play.
