Funky Chicken Farm is a family-run farm that specializes in selling various poultry, including chicks and hens, along with other farm-related products like worms, honey, and handmade soaps. The farm also provides educational support to customers about raising chickens and caring for animals. It serves as both a retail business and an educational resource for aspiring poultry owners.
Funky chicken farm are the best in town . Really nice baby chicken and the owner and his wife are very nice people .he give me and my wife a lot of information about the chicken. He have a ton of experience with chicken and other animals as well. Sometimes people judge others instead of give them a hand or helping somehow with the situation. The Bible said don’t judge others!!! anyways ur chicken are in excellent health and we so happy with them all 4 of them . We planing in getting more from them . Keep it up Funky chicken Farm . You guys are the best. God bless you guys
Had to rehome my rooster (was supposed to be a hen but you know how that goes). They were fantastic and nice. The $10 rehoming fee was well worth it to know he was going to be in good hands. They even asked if he had a name. Will definately be back to try some of the goods they have as well.
We have went to the farm multiple times! All our chicks have been amazing! Never once had an issue with bugs, sickness or malnutrition. Butts are always clean which is hard to keep up with ask TSC. They educate, and answered all our questions! We now have worms, sour dough starters, chickens, and strawberries from this farm! We plan to try more products soon! Definitely a great place to stop in and check out! My only complaint is they are only open on weekends!
Just picked up some chicks this morning. Got there about 9:50 and was only about 3rd in line. Andrew was very nice and helpful and explained that he would assist everyone one at a time. He had dozens of each breed available, but the line was getting pretty long by the time we left. Picked up some hand made soaps and a few other items too! Nice people and great family farm! We’ll be back next time we need chicks again
I did have to wait in line for almost 2 hours. And the chicks I wanted sold out so fast (wanted americauna) when the line got to me, I was able to get 1 Australorp and 2 barred rocks. Not the best variety left. They said they open at 10, and it was a hour drive for me. I arrived at 9:54, was Early. And they didn't limit chicks so someone was able to buy what I wanted. They probably will go resell them for more. That's the current trend it seems. But overall, the chicks I did get are healthy and doing well. They use ideal poultry which is the best hatchery in my opinion. 4 star review only because I feel they should have limited chicks to 4 per person to make it fair for everyone.
This place rocks!!! We have been getting chicks from these guys for years. I can't believe all the business they get here. People coming and going all day long. We highly recommend funky chicken farm to all our friends and family. Andrew has spent so much time with me when we 1st started on all the dos and don't of how to start raising our chicks. We will be back!!!
Love funky chicken farm, the people are so nice and the blueberry jam is delicious.
I’ve bought chickens here on three different occasions and they have always been healthy and happy. I’m considering going back again soon. I miss my fresh morning eggs :) my neighbor is considering buying also. I may bring her along. Love the place. The couple (owners) are organized and super friendly. Thank you for the great experience. My adult grown kids have made it a typical Father’s Day habit/trip to the farm to get me chickens lol.
I waited a few weeks before posting a review. I visit the farm two weeks ago. I was met with a smile and asked what they can help me with. I came with plans to see their hens. I was escorted to the back and given all the information and picked one out. My hen is doing amazing and did ever since she got here. She was healthy, happy and friendly. I am very impressed and just want to remind people this is not a farm for free roam. They are a husband a wife team who love animals, making a living and keep the animals AS EITHER pets and/or food. What may not seem suitable to you really is. All animals was taken care of and I will be going back. Very soon!
I don't normally give reviews, but this was by far, the worst place I have ever visited. I wanted pullets and Andrew scooped them up in a fishnet and when they didn't meet his expectations they were tossed to the ground like garbage. They cages were surrounded by red ants. I was bit several times, just looking at the cages. Animal control will be called.
Suzanne and her husband Andrew are wonderful people. I worked in the Chicken and poultry sector as a field engineer for many years and so I have seen where most people buy chicken and eat it from. The setup they have is amazing and very …
Big shout out to Funky Chicken Farm. Picked up quality animals, was there for quail hens, at a good price and Andrew was very helpful and informative. Definitely recommend and will be back for more of my poultry needs. Thank you guys!
The most rude service I have ever had. First time I went the owner made me feel so bad that I couldn’t hold my cry. He was SO rude and laud at me and pushing me to make a decision fast without …
Funky Chicken Farms was an amazing experience, I was so pleased with my trip. Suzanne was incredibly kind hearted and shared tons of knowledge with me. I purchased four pounds of worms, two shirts, and some local honey. I will be back to …
We had a wonderful experience. The man was very nice and helpful. We got 10 chicks (4 kinds). It's been 9 days and they're all alive! Very healthy, growing like weeds, and eating like pigs! March 15th, 2021
Bought three hens today. All of the chickens appear quite healthy. The owners were very nice and seem passionate about what they do. I couldn't resist buying some garlic sauerkraut. Delicious. I will be back.
I guess everything I have been holding back finally break forth.... But only after I took a shower with the honey Queen Bee soap and while sitting on the bed applying the pachouli passion with lavender balm I just burst out in tears. I sat …
Visited the farm with my niece and nephews. The eggs were excellent, and the monkey butter is delicious.
I went to Funky Chicken Farm and bought 10 hen chicks. As they got older, I had 5 Roosters. I tried to contact the owners via phone, facebook page and they never responded back to me. I paid a lot of money for these. Very poor Customer Service and would not recommend.
Found this farm online while searching for some worms for my compost bin. Suzanne was very nice and helpful! She showed us around, let my children pets the bunnies, let me taste test the honey beer and I ended purchasing some great seeds for my garden!
