Focus Ranch is a traditional working cattle ranch located in Slater, Colorado, that offers horseback riding and educational activities for families and guests. The ranch operates with over 1300 head of yearling cattle, focusing on sustainable ranching practices while providing a unique vacation experience. They also host various workshops and activities that enhance the ranch experience.
Great retreat for who wants to experience a dude ranch. It is set in a beautiful location, the food is all made in house from scratch (that includes the breads they serve, the meat comes from their animals, the milk comes from their cow) and the company you get in the evenings from the owners and the other guests is something you will always remember. Your day will be full of activities like horseback riding, fishing, hiking, photo lessons (this is a newer addition) or you can just hang out by the creek meandering through the yard. Definitely a vacation like no other.
