Not fancy but wonderful food and service
My dad and i stopped there after visiting my grandparents. Their canadian bacon is so good! I’m excited to try the stir fry beef and ground beef that we bought!
I’m giving 5 star for the meat processing and 4 stars for the restaurant. This is my 3rd year at using their butchering services to process my deer. I’ve now have deer made into steaks, ground venison and this year summer sausage. Whatever you’re having made comes professionally packaged, flash frozen and ready to go into your freezer for long term storage. This year’s venison summer sausage with pepper jack cheese is excellent…maybe the best I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with processing my deer but I’ve known this family for over 40 years and love knowing I’m getting my own meat back. I’m giving the restaurant 4 stars because it’s just kind of awkward. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. The food is good and the place is clean.
We just bought everyone in the shop lunch from Flying J. The double cheeseburger was the big hit. My shop foreman said it's the juiciest burger he's had in some time. I had the Midnight Special and I highly recommend it.
This was a great find on our trip to West Virginia! We had the best lunch and bought meat to take home with us along with produce. The prices were very reasonable and they had a big selection of cuts of meat.
Hours of operation are unusual. Food is great. I never know if I'm going to be served at a table or have to order at the counter. We haven't been back since our guest asked for an extra dinner roll and was charged for it!
Our favorite place for good beef. Their food is great. We always sit at the same table. They enjoy their customers. Go get the prime rib! Awesome!
EXCELLENT meals & unique fresh food & butchered meats in deli/store. Caution: once you eat their bacon, you will even wait in the parking lot for them to open, to get more! It's outrageously delicious.
