I’m 74 years old and have been boiling and eating peanuts all my life. I haven’t lived in south Alabama too long but decided to stop by Fidler farms and get a bag of green peanuts. Got ‘em home and opened em up and wasn’t real impressed with their looks. Regardless I boiled me up a couple of pounds. I’m not up on the names of peanut species but I would name these “DIRT”. They looked and tasted exactly like south Alabama dirt. Nastiest and ugliest peanuts I have ever seen. I first poured the boiled ones in the trash then poured the rest of the green ones on top of them. I don’t know if the old gentleman that waited on me decided to get rid of his trash on an unsuspecting “tourist” (which I ain’t) or these are typical Fidler peanuts. I hope the first one. I can’t imagine them ever having a repeat customer if these were their best peanuts. Fidler Farms will never be bothered by this old boy again.

Stopped in here looking for boiled peanuts. I absolutely fell for them a few years back when visiting this part of the country. I told the owners I've come all the way from Las Vegas looking for boiled peanuts, lol! I wasn't disappointed.

Mr. and Mrs. Fiddler have the best peanuts i have ever had. My family and i look forward to every fall, not only for college football, but for the fresh green peanuts!!! They are FANTASTIC!!! The Fiddlers are also growing CDB, and have oils and other products available.

Sweetest fokes, so down to earth. You can get different size/kind of peanut. Cajun spiced/boiled, regular boiled, green so you can do boil them with your own recipe. Roasted. There's a variety of size bags. They can be frozen. They have GRASS FED, BEST HAMBURGER MEAT IN THE AREA. IT HAS THE STEAKS, ROAST, AND SO FORTH ALL GROUND UP FOR A GREAT TEXTURE AND TASTE. THEY ALSO HAVE STEAKS & SMALL ROAST. JUST ABOUT ANYTIME IS AN OK TIME TO STOP BY THE FARM.. ITS EASY TO GET TO. JUST A FEW MILES OFF HWY 104 OUT OF SILVERHILL Al. If your not sure about the season just give them a call or check out their fb page. I usually just call or ride out.

Good Alabama beef (frozen, but still very good), peanuts in several forms. One of the best places for at least those two commodities. The steak really is good.

Fidler farms is one special place. Brings me back home when I go there. Purchased jumbo boiled peanuts from. Young guy helping his grandpa was the best service ever. Got what I wanted he was goid at selling his product for sure

We were very impressed with the farm and the fresh jumbo, green peanuts that we purchased. Not to mention the parched peanuts that we purchased, also. It's a true farm, and true southerners own and run it!!

We sought out the so called farm and they didn't even have a sign out front. No visible parking, just a dirt road leading behind a brick house. There are peanuts growing everywhere in South Alabama and not one boiled peanut stand in that I could find in Baldwin County. Come on man, let's get with the program. Do you even know what boiled peanuts are?

Peanuts galore...light roast...dark roast...green, cook your own. Even the family pet is "Peanut"! How "nutty" is that...and they never run out! Pecans, too.

The elderly gentleman who owns and runs the place is very friendly and helpful. We visit here every year for peanuts and are never disappointed 😥 …

Federal Farms I go there for the fresh farm peanuts I boil my own sometimes I roast them but I usually boil them as far as the meat haven't got any of the farm fresh grass-fed beef yet but I do really want some but normally I'm a cheapskate so I know it's going to be kind of hard being its grass-fed but I'm going to get some one day
