We came where for their sheep shearing event . They had the sheep’s and goats🐐 in a fenced area so that would be easier to pick them. They were being sheared old fashion way . While the sheep’s were being sheared the farmer would reply to any question we had and was very eloquent about it . It was so informative. You could really see how the animals are loved here and how much all staff loves their work. It is a peaceful place with many animals. I never saw so friendly goats , you can see they are well treated . They sell eggs (duck and chicken ) meat and furs. They normally don’t sell in the farm, but if you call ahead they can try to accommodate your requests. Overall great experience . Go, buy you will not regret . They are also selling their stuff Saturday in Matthews NC farms market and Thursday’s in the summer farms market . Toddler loved it and so did we!
Love to see the animals being raised naturally. Plus there’s no antibiotics and other artificial feeds.
Buy chicken bones from the Matthews farmers market. Great for broths, high quality bones and meat.
