The store emphasizes quality and customer service, although there are mixed reviews regarding the freshness and quality of their offerings. They also provide a variety of meats and have a customer loyalty program.
Farm2Cook offers some of the best quality chicken and goat meat in the Dallas area. The meat is always fresh, well-cut, and hygienically packed. Their packaging is neat and secure, ensuring everything stays fresh. While there are times when specific items may be unavailable, the staff always go the extra mile to satisfy customer needs. They make sure to restock requested items as quickly as possible. The butchers are skilled, and the front desk staff are courteous and helpful. Overall, it’s a great place to buy quality meat with excellent customer service. Highly recommended for meat lovers!
The meat has full of cleaning liquid smell even after well cooked at home. The quality of meat looks not good. We also have noticed that at times the meat appears less fresh, and some chicken packs have had a gooey liquid upon opening.
Today, at around 6 PM CST, I about around 3.96 LB of goat leg. There was an offer if we buy 4LB or above, it would cost $13.49, anything below 4LB is $14.99. After i paid the bill($14.99 per LB), i asked the Lady at the cash counter if the offer is valid for me , she said , oh this offer was only till yesterday, forgot to remove the offer board(BIG WHITE BOARD, which can be see as soon as you enter the shop) . I went to India Bazar, bought some grocery, then bought Tea in the kitchen attached to India bazar. While having tea, i called up Farm2Cook to see if the offer is still valid and the person on the phone said offer is valid. After having Tea, i just walked around the shop to see if it was the same person or a different one, but it was the same person who told me the offer was valid only till yesterday. I did not expect them to lie to save few $$ . I bet they would have done this for many customers. I would never go buy anything from this shop
This store used to have great quality meat in the beginning. But over time, the quality has noticeably declined. We’ve noticed that on certain days or times the meat appears less fresh, and some chicken packs have had a gooey liquid upon opening. While we have shopped here due to convenience, we will be looking for better alternatives moving forward.
Halal chickens at its best! Good quality chicken at a decent price. No waiting time. Store follows covid protocols and also offers goat , paneer ... enjoy 😉
Do not recommend. Multiple instances of bad smell for goat meat with a very poor response from the staff. It happened in both stores from Frisco (Eldorado and Stonebriar).
Chicken quality has got down significantly. Started looking for alternatives. Even mutton bones packs don’t have enough bones with collagen.
Best fresh meat in dallas, its been 3 years im buying from this store. The quality of meat never went down.
High priced. $10 for 1lb of goat meat. Quality is good but a small tray of 2lbs for $22 is way too much. Will try to find few other halal shops.
Very disappointed by the quantity of butchers at this location. It looks like chickens are being cut up by 2 year olds. A total mess, crushed bones that can get stuck in your throat when you eat. Prices are very high compared to other businesses. Chicken drumsticks are being sold at almost breast prices.
Always fresh, best price and good service. Good for quick visit.
I was very disappointed with the quality of the meat I purchased. The mutton had a strange odor and was discolored, indicating it was not fresh. When cooked, it turned out to be extremely tough and almost inedible. Additionally, the mutton I bought had a slimy texture and an off smell, which made me question its freshness and safety.
Meat quality is not good, Premium Goat Bone in majority of bones and not even half meat. May be we should think twice when buying premium goat bone in.
We occasionally buy Chicken from this store; tried seafood for the first time in farm2cook at McKinney towne crossing . The lady fish we got was as fresh as the ones we used to …
They were selling fresh meats though at a premium price but not any more. The goat meat they sell now is not fresh at all, very rubbery, masala's don't get marinated well, looks like frozen meat, taste is similar to those frozen imported …
Fresh meat but overpriced goat meat. No packets available for less than $22/$23 and chickens here are expensive too. It’s in convenient location and almost everything looks fresh. Most of the customers travel from rich neighborhoods so their pricing seems up charge for others.
I bought lamb mutton at the Eldorado location and every one got sick (diarrhea). There was no label on the package . When I asked during checkout they said it's packed today . I suggest not to do the same mistake while buying .
Fresh and best center for chicken and fish. Very neat maintained and high quality.
Excellent quality of meat and customer service is good
Great experience at this meat shop! The customer service is exceptional, and the quality of the meat is top-notch.The variety of meats available is impressive, and the staff is accommodating to my needs. Have a great customer loyalty program too.
