I purchased some beef brisket and pork bacon butger patties at the Festus Farmer's Market and they are delicious!! Will definitely be keeping an eye out for Falling Sun at future events!

Hands down the best beef and pork we have ever had! This beautiful family puts so much work and love into their animals, this is not just a business to them but a way of life. I feel blessed to have it shared with me. The ordering process is so simple and you get exactly what you ask for! The meat is top quality, it is better than a 5 star restaurant!! We are first time customers of Falling Sun Ranch and extremely satisfied with the professional and friendly service! The quality of the beef is outstanding! Nicole and George were informative throughout the process and made it so easy. We are definitely going to be repeat customers and highly recommended them to our friends and family.

We don't like to have my information on social media, Google, etc. so usually don't leave reviews, but the way Falling Sun Ranch handled our business left us feeling that we needed to warn others. We went in on a cow with some friends of ours and were so excited to get grass fed beef from a local farm- this really looked like a small business we wanted to support. We even bought a second deep freeze with the intention of purchasing another cow if we had a good experience with this one. We agreed to a price of $5.25 per pound of processed meat when we placed our order and put down our $1050 deposit over the summer to lock in that price, then waited the six months for our cow to be ready. They were clear in their communication that they "never liked the idea of charging someone per/lb. for live or hanging weight" and "You only pay the per/lb. price for the amount of beef you actually receive after processing.” Once the cow was processed, we were told that it came in at a whopping 505 lbs. making the total bill $2,651.25! We got the meat and paid the rest of our bill, but as we were unloading the meat it just didn't seem like over 500 pounds, so we decided to weigh it... it came in at 317 pounds, meaning we should have only been charged $1664.25 and ended up paying $8.36 per pound, overpaying by almost $1000! We reached out to them that night to let them know about the issue and the owner said that they accidentally charged the hanging weight instead of the processed weight because their butcher gave them the hanging weight when they were supposed to provide the processed weight. They offered to charge us $2000 for the order and refund us the other $651.25, but paying $2000 for the order means that we would be paying $6.31 per pound, not the agreed upon $5.25. They refused to refund the total amount we were overcharged and instead made us return the meat since we would not agree to paying $6.31 per pound. When the meat was returned the guy kept saying that his wife should not have said they don’t charge for the hanging weight because that’s what they do, but at the time I am writing this review their website still claims that they don’t charge the hanging weight but only for the meat you take home. The fact that they refused to honor the agreed upon price and then kept putting the blame on other people (first the butcher and then his own wife) makes it hard for us to believe that it was actually an accident charging us for the wrong weight. Not only did we not get the meat we were counting on having to feed our family, but I drove 30 minutes each way to pick up the meat, wasted time unloading it, weighing it, loading it into our freezer so it wouldn't go bad overnight, unloading it back into boxes again, and then made the hour round trip drive again to return it. All of this because they were unwilling to honor their agreement and do business the way they advertise.

Nicole and George were great to work with; they were responsive, informative, friendly and they priced their product fairly. So far, we’ve immensely enjoyed the round steak (two recipes out of that hunk - one shared below), the ribeye and the ground beef. I don’t know what was in the grass-fed beef we used to buy at a big box store, but we A’INT GOIN BACK! Falling Sun Ranch, see ya next around!😋

Omgggg the bacon, the pork sausage, the beef jerky, the steaks!!! It don't made what you get it's amazing!! Taste like real meat instead of a bunch of chemicals or additives. DONT WALK ... RUN!!! You won't want to miss your opportunity!

The beef was of very good quality and very fairly priced! I highly recommend Falling Sun Ranch for quality beef. Support the local farmer! We will be long term customers because the quality can't be beat!

This was a first time for us and we will continue to keep coming back. The tenderness won us over. We got a huge amount and was a great price. Really like the packaging as well.
