This is the best place to get locally raised chicken, pork, beef and lamb. The store also sells local milk as well as other products sourced from NC producers. The store is a short drive from Mooresville, Statesville, Troutman, Salisbury and Concord.

Picked up chicken at uptown farmers market. It was high quality and delicious.
I love the chicken wings!! I purchased from the Uptown Market in Charlotte NC every time my senior citizens community goes which is every two weeks. The wings are so clean and just the right size for a family of one me!!
We’ve been getting our chicken, beef, and eggs from Evans for a couple years now. Their prices are fair and everything has always been high quality. There’s truly no comparison to the grocery store and it’s good to know the animals are treated well.
We bought a whole lamb from Evans Family Farm 2 years in a row. The first year we lived not too far from it. This year (2022) we had moved below Greeneville, SC and because we Love them so much and it is hard to find a good and comparable farm, we traveled for our Lamb this year. I support local, but I also support good people, good farm practices, good service and good merchandise. 🙂 Oh, and we bought a whole turkey and a turkey breast for 2021 Thanksgiving and were so very pleased with our whole new experience of a farm fresh turkey!
kiddos went to farm day camp for a week last summer, and they had an amazing time. the evans have a great set up out there and a cute store on site selling fresh meat, eggs, and even soaps!
My first stop here. I ask about chickens. The owner told me she didn't have any and didn't know when she would have more. At that point I was dismissed. She put her phone to her ear, turned around and walked away. You want a dose of disrespect, stop in. As for me, I won't be going back.

As a vegetarian I buy the meat we need for the rest of the family from here. I like knowing I'm supporting local, getting good, clean meats and that their practices are good for the environment.
They did a great job processing my meat chickens in a really timely manner. They're helpful and affordable. will 100% use again!
