El Reys Market

El Rey has the best meat market I've found in the SW New Mexico. I was told that their meat is grass fed from Colorado. After the rib roast I cooked last Christmas, sooo tender and tasteful, I refuse to go anywhere else for meats. Absolutely worth the higher price for quality & flavor. Everyone associated with the market, is so friendly & knowledgeable. BEST avocados too!!

My Husband and i were going through town and saw this meat market. So we stopped. Great place for Mexican style beef, pork and fish. They even have oysters!

We traveled from Silver City to Deming because we could not find a decent steak in our town and we were not dissapointed!! Worth the hour drive! Best steak I've made in a long while, great meat makes a great steak!!

Visited El Rey's Meat Market for the first time today. I am new to the area. Years ago I lived in Los Lunas and bought all my meats at Pat's Meat Market. I loved it! So was hoping since I was finally back in New Mexico, I would find another quality meat market and I did today. Had meat from El Rey's for lunch and dinner. It was excellent as were the flour tortillas from there. Their meat selection is awesome and the people there were so nice! I am going back on Saturday.... If you haven't tried it, you should.

We stopped here a while back for dinner (April) and the food here was awesome. The waitresses were quick, friendly and attentive. We checked out the meat market and I just pulled our Italian sausage out of the freezer for dinner tonight. Wish we had more freezer room because these were phenomenal! Will definitely stop again on our trips through.

Best meat market around. The Carne asada is my favorite. We just had the green chile cheese burger patties...delicious.

The absolute best quality meats I've ever had! We won't buy meat any where else as now we're completely spoiled with the deliciousness of El Rey meats. Always service with a smile, maybe a little joke, and ultra- polite! The prices are higher but the steaks and pork chops are so big that one of them feeds 2 people easily .

We've been buying meats here for 20 years. This is a family run business and they are the most gracious people you will ever do business with. The meat case always looks like a work of art. They always have the freshest and highest quality meats available anywhere. They're always happy and courteous and will do custom cut meats for you upon request. We have traveled extensively over the decades and have never come across a meat market that is better than this anywhere in the United States.

I love this place. Everyone is so nice and the prices are great. I quit buying meat at Walmart and started buying all my meat at El Rays. The steaks are tender and juicy, the bacon, jalapeno burger patties are wonderful. Chops, chicken, shrimp and ground chuck is the BEST!!!!!!

I love the restaurant inside El Rey. I drive over an hour just to have the steaks. My kids love the chicken fingers. Everything is fresh and taste so good. If your driving by Deming you have to stop and eat here or pick up some steaks to go.

This place is great! Really helpful staff, a wide variety of fresh meats, including homemade sausages and fresh ground beef. Plus produce and all the other groceries you need. This will be a new regular stop for me!

This little store tucked away by Dennys is one of Demings jewels. It has an amazing selection of meats. It also carries a good selection of hatch chili powder. The gentlemen working are always welcoming and polite. If your looking for a great cut of meat or delicious sausages this is the place.

These people are so sweet. They bend over backwards to get whatever meat products you desire. Today I purchased jalapeno-bacon burgers, a fresh chicken, and some hot Italian sausages. They cut everything on site & grind & stuff their own sausages.

Excellent quality meat, very friendly service, small grocery also. It also has a Fantastic restaurant Thursday thru Saturday. We have purchased our meat from them for over 5 years. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I definitely would.

El Reys Market is one of the reasons that we chose Deming to retire. Who would ever guess that such a small town would be home to such a jewel! They always have the best meats!! We almost always get something in a marinade. One of our favorites is the chicken adovo, must try!! Excellent off the BBQ, on tacos, whatever.
