Enjoyed a prickly pear jelly making class , complete with harvest and how to handle the prickly pears . The class was educational and fun . What they are doing as a family is phenomenal and peaceful.

I have purchased from Edelen Farms several time in the past 2 years. I love the quality products offered, and I think Andrew is a great person to do business with. You can tell he has a passion for his work. His prices are good for grass fed beef, and you can't beat the quality. I love supporting our local community, and he is also a Veteran. I'm so glad Edelen Farms is avaliable to the public.

Usually with a negative experience I don’t write reviews but this is very concerning to me. We bought 3 dozen eggs at a farmers market. When we got home we noticed the egg cartons had an extremely strong tar smell. Immediately took all of the eggs out and put them in a bowl. The next morning we made some for breakfast. The yokes weren’t nice but I didn’t think much of it, other than I wouldn’t buy them again. It’s been 5 days of eating these eggs. Every day my baby has had the most disgusting foul smelling poop, and I couldn’t figure it out. This morning eating the eggs I finally noticed the taste reminds me of the feces smell. So I cracked another egg and smelled it. Sure enough the egg itself smells like the tar that was on the egg carton. Now I have about 15 eggs that im just going to throw away.

Edelen Farms provides some of the freshest meat and produce in all of South Texas. I mainly buy from them when they are set up at the Grow Local Farmer's Market in Corpus Christi on Wednesdays. Andrew and his team are always trying new things and are very willing to talk about how everything is raised, as well as how to use the ingredients. From eggs to salad greens, I have never been disappointed by anything I have bought from Edelen Farms. We are lucky to have them here!

The beef and chicken cuts are perfectly frozen and last the drive back home for the freezer. Their booth at the farmers markets in Corpus Christi is set up for easy purchase and the price list is prominently displayed for easy reference. Very friendly and helpful in selecting the seasonal vegetables or cuts of meat needed. The chicken and beef are pasture-raised and high quality. The whole chickens and chicken pieces are not fatty like store-bought chickens are. Edelen Farms has become our go-to place for buying chicken. The chicken-fried steak beef cuts are delicious. The eggs are always kept very cold at the market and are high quality. Their green bulb onions are large and very fresh. Their lettuces are very fresh and crisp, just superb.

I picked up a quarter beef from Andrew this weekend. The whole experience was great. It was obvious from walking around the farm with him that he is very passionate and motivated when it comes to farming. He went out of his way to accommodate my scheduling needs, and was responsive to any questions I had throughout the purchase process. The online store he uses for orders was very user-friendly. Really cool, veteran-owned operation that he is running. For quality, very reasonably-priced food, I highly recommend!

We were very excited to receive our first small package order, range free chicken Eggs! Hormone free beef, turkey, chicken breasts, and a gorgeous, delicious sourdough loave. Bravo, Edelen Farms !

I think Andrew might be the only person doing what he does for at least a hundred miles in each direction. He puts the right priority on regenerative agriculture, good for nature, for animals, and good for people too. I am extremely pleased with everything he sells.

Definitely a gem here in Alice!! Highly recommend! Wonderful experience at the farm, great customer service, and most importantly awesome produce and meats.
