Eastern Market of Canton is a true hidden gem! I first heard about this place after seeing a Facebook video featuring a young man named Luciano confidently talking about their freshly ground meats. He explained how they grind their own chuck, beef, and brisket daily, and I knew right away I had to check them out. When I told my wife Becky, she said, “Yes, we need to go!” From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a big, energetic “Welcome to Eastern Market!”—it felt like something out of a New York deli or butcher shop. The energy, the pride, the teamwork—it immediately made the visit special. The meat counter itself is incredible: pork ribs, chops, sausage patties, brisket patties the size of half-pounders, ribeyes, tomahawks, NY strips, lamb chops, crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, and more. Loaves of bread line the counter, making it easy to pair meats with sides. At one point, I heard one employee shout “New York Strips, going home!” and the rest of the team echoed back in chorus—what a fun touch! I gravitated toward the cowboy ribeyes, and the butcher let me know they had exactly ONE dry-aged steak left—aged 14 days. When I asked how much extra it would be, he said, “We don’t charge extra. When they’re gone, they’re gone until the next batch.” I couldn’t believe my luck in snagging that beautiful cut—2 inches thick, perfectly marbled, and nearly Wagyu-level quality. We also grabbed their house-made Mexican street corn (a must-try), plus hummus, toum garlic spread, Mexicali dip, kettle chips, potatoes, and onions. Everything you could want for a perfect cookout. At checkout, Luciano’s brother Antonio rang us up. I told him we came in because of the Facebook video, and he shook my hand firmly, looked me straight in the eye, and thanked me. Then, in true showman fashion, he asked our names. After Becky and I introduced ourselves, he announced to the entire shop: “Becky and Jonas are taking home TWO cowboy ribeyes!” And the whole team shouted back, “BECKY AND JONAS COWBOY RIBEYES!” What an amazing, memorable experience. Eastern Market of Canton has it all—fantastic selection, unbeatable customer service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family. We’ve driven past more times than I can count, but now that we’ve stepped inside, we’ll absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommended!

I love this place. The meat is always fresh and taste so much better when cooked then other markets.. the employees were very helpful and nice.. I ordered so much meat but they took there time to break everything up for me into meal sizes for my family.. I will never shop anywhere else for my meats !!

Tim and Marvin were SO welcoming and patient! My first time there and I was treated so kindly! Not to mention the variety of meats in this store: this is a FANTASTIC place to get good oxtail from, AND they even have frozen rabbit! This place is a blessing (and try their salsa at the deli, that is GOOD stuff!)

Just came in with my family to stop by and see it. The place was incredible. The workers were so very personable. The youngest worker still in high school was very respectful. It’s a family place. Staff is friendly and always greet everyone that walks in. Good selection of meat, prepared foods, and deli options. Always have organ meat and beef bones, although a little pricey on those items, they do cut them on request so that needs to be considered when evaluating pricing. Ultimately, worth it since I dont have to try and cut bones at home.

Gave me great prices. Everything wrapped ready fo freezer. I spent 253.00 and received 5 racks of best baby back ribs ever had all meatty. 20 1 lb. Pack hamberger 20 lbs dutterfly cut pork chops and 10. Lb skinless boneless chicken breast wrapped just the way i wanted. Very convienet and great service and great meat.

I love their products! Sides, desserts, Sandwhiches, meat products, veggie products AMAZING!!! Staff is above an beyond with help when making new things they’ll suggest better cuts which is amazing cause I’m learning to cook an people make sure I have the right meats for what I’m doing is amazing. They have really high-quality meat, chicken, and pork. And usually a lot cheaper than Kroger. Example ground chuck for $4.99 a pound Kroger is $6.99 a pound. Ground somewhere in Ohio, then shipped here. At eastern market, it's ground fresh daily.
