We've been using Franks meats for a very long time. Our beef is always great! They cut it up to your specifications. It's never freezer burned from the seal. I highly recommend them. Melissa is awesome to work with on your orders, and Dennis makes it easy by coming to your place to pick up your animal and never disappoints. Now they go by Double D meats.
Franks recently changed their name to Double D meats but everything else is the same. We were very pleased with their processing of three hogs for us and we will be working with them in the future. Their peppered bacon is amazing.
Previously, I have brought my seasons harvest to franks meats and was satisfied. However, this season was a nightmare. I dropped off a deer and a half, only to get a call 4 days after that my meat had spoiled under their care. When I asked why did my meat spoil, their response was that they didn't know what happened. The portion of the deer I had kept and processed myself was perfectly fine. I would not recommend this locker during the general season or any time for that matter, as it seems, they get far too busy and cannot handle the work load.
High quality service and packaging. I recommend Franks Meats over other meat processors in the area. They come do the pickup and butchering for a reasonable amount to processing and packaging in vacuum sealed bags that have the weight, date, and cut of meat on it. Everyone was friendly and courteous to deal with. The meat was well frozen when picked up and the butcher area always smelled clean and fresh whenever I randomly stopped by. The meat was aged and cut exactly to order. The only down side is that you best make reservations to use them during the county fair time otherwise they tend to get too busy and you may have to wait a while. But on the plus side, the wait is worth it. Out of the 7 different meat processors I have used in my life in various parts of the country, they are currently the best.
The quality of my bison was great, taste of the burger was perfect..they even delivered me my meat to me in Kalispell and didnt even want gas money, very awesome people..
My family have used franks meats for years and have always loved there service.
Took in an elk and came out with less than my deer. They threw away my tenderloins "so they say" i have spoke with several people and they all had the same poor experience.
