Dons Meats

I bought a meat package from Dons meats in West Jordan and so far have been very disappointed. The pork chops were just pieces of pork on a bone with very little meat on them and the lean hamburger wasn’t very lean and was really brown so I ended up tossing half of it away. The picture below is of so of the hamburger that I kept and cooked.

My first time coming here and I purchased the bacon bombs. I have tried quite a bit of bacon bombs everywhere else and I have to say these were really delicious and the best ones I've tried!! I was told by the young man behind the counter these were the bacon bombs with ribeye inside it and Wow!! It came out cooking perfectly and was very tender and soft and I didn't even need to season it. My suggestions go get some of those!!!

I’m so glad I drove past and decided to check it out. Got a huge chicken breast dinner for two nights. Good stuff. Wish it was closer to me. For some reason there are no butchers in salt lake.

Soon. UPDATE 1 HOUR LATER: Wonderful, going to be my go to for meat. Upgrading from Sam's. UPDATE 2: Called to see if they have the balls, they do! (Rocky mountain oysters / cow balls)

We had never been in Don’s before and I have to say the experience was great! Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff guided us through getting all of our needs met. But even better, the steaks tasted so so much better than chain store bought! We will definitely be back.

I came here looking for some valentine's day steak (because you can't do it any other way) and left with a little over four pounds of ribeye. To say the meat quality was high is an understatement. You will never get prices and quality like Dons meats anywhere else like a grocery store. Was also convenient both ribeyes looked like hearts. Will definitely be a returnin customer.

Awesome store and staff, I bought some porterhouses and some tri tip roasts from Don's and they were nothing but fantastic. They even cut them for me , super professional and nice , they even did it after closing hours. I was told by some of my friends I should check them out and I am very happy they told me about them. I will never go to another meat store but Don's from now on. I wish I had pictures of the meat , I ate it before I even thought of taking a picture of it

We looked all over the valley for pork product has real fresh taste. Not Costco, not Harmon’s and Smith. Dons Meats had the best pork product. Don’t get fooled by the outside look, check out their pork product!

Went to Don's in West Jordan today. Been itching for a while... Being honest, it's hard to impress me anymore.... After I've lived the buisness all my years! But, a good friend told me to check it out... So here we go... Met straight up front with an old school hand shake, immediate small town environment! This to me is an absolute minimum... Check! Absolutely an awesome storefront, and from the front viewing all the BBQ seasonings, to the North with all the pellets you could smoke with seasonings, to the south with a great selection of hand made products, seasoned, and also top shelf cuts in the freezer section. They even let me assess their "USDA Choice Rib Eye" quality beef roast statement, very nice looking roasts they are using... Period! Wrapped correctly, done right from start to finish. AWESOME cleanliness, not a single issue noted, even dusting the racks... Purchased a whole bunch of stuff and can't wait to try everything! Very professional! 10/10 We'll be doing business again!
