Don's Country Butcher

Cute little meat market with everything we needed for dinner. The Ribeye steak was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Amazing! I will return.

We went to Don's to pick up some packs of sausage for future dinners. Got our sausage and ended up buying cowboy beans, greens, soup, and gumbo!!! My wife does not eat greens but they were gone within the hour after she ate almost all of them. The gumbo is absolutely delicious!!! Everything we had was awesome!! I highly recommend!

This isn't just a great butcher shop, its a great place for lunch. Their hot lunch plates are always delicious 😋 and the price is unmatched for the amount of food you get...... not to mention the best sweet tea around! …

Great place to get an expensive lunch plate. I had the hamburger meat plate with brown flour gravy, greens, potato casserole and cucumber salad. It's so a great place to get a freshly made sandwich or get sandwich meat. The lunch plate is very inexpensive - so, for what you get, you'll be full and happy. The steaks cuts are a little expensive but it's fresh. Also, they process meat like deer, rabbit, and pig. Give the place a try if you're nearby.

I go into Don’s meat market often they have the best ribeye steaks and cooked meals and deli meat that is cheaper than a lot of stores. Everyone in there is very friendly and helpful.

Loved this place since I was a kid, great staff, always friendly. Stop by twice a week just for jerky. 100/5 stars

My grandparents picked up 11lbs of beef tenderloin and it was amazing. It was melt in your mouth perfect!

Great local place, near the lake. From hot plate dinners to convenient grocery mart. Emplyees are very helpful and pleasant.

They have the best meats in the area. I miss being there in Hot Springs, Ark I remember every time my husband and I would go get some petridge farm bbq lunch loaf every mo it was so good didn't even need bread with it just pick up a slice and eat..I am hoping to get some more from them soon if it's still available and they can ship it to texas.

I always get my ground chuck and ground beef here. It is worth it. They have ground beef with jalapenos ground in with it. If you like your chili spicy, this is the way to go.

Dropped by to pick up some meats when I was vacationing nearby. They were absolutely charming and cut the meat I purchased in the way I wished.

Great experience, they have any cut of meat that you may want including the end trails. I searched All the big box stores for pig's feet and hog maws with no luck. But they had them. Makes the second year that I experienced this. But this year I was told by a friend to try Don's. Glad I did. Friendly people, I will definitely be back.

They have great package deals on their meats. The meats are wrapped as 1 lbs. packages. They are friendly and helpful.

Hand cut sirloin or your preference, weighed and packaged before your eyes. Great hot food selection to go. Petit Jean products and the best jerky to be had. Careful with the "Hot" though !

Home cooked meals with lots of flavor. I had the oven roasted turkey sandwich with lettuce onion and Colby Jack cheese on white bread and a side of vegetable soup. The vegetable soup was so full of veggies and meat . The lettuce was crisp and cold. The onion was crisp and fresh. The soup was hot. Definitely a go back to when I'm too tired to cook after work.

Always enjoy stopping in here. Fresh meats and decent prices. Great hot plate lunches and a little bit of everything for a quick stop if you run out of something. The folks that own and work here are always nice and helpful. Stop in and check it out.

We have always been happy in the past but when we went in yesterday afternoon around 4pm or so, we were treated so rudely by the man at the meat counter we will never be back. They had no meat cut in the case and acted like we were idiots for asking for some! They don't have to worry! We will be asking someone else from now on!
