The Doctor Family are great people. They will treat you there own family. The products that we have gotten from them have been spectacular. From the beef, to the pork, the chicken and eggs. The family strives to make the best products you can buy.
Great service. Enjoy the online option and pickup during the week. We had the chicken tenders. Very good and fresh. Such a difference between the grocery store meat that you buy.
I ordered a 1/4 beef two months ago. Ordering was easy and they were gracious and patient in explaining everything for me since this was my first time ordering bulk beef. They helped me with the cut sheet for the butcher, and walked me through the various options. Super easy people to work with. Pricing was very fair, and I consider what I got a great deal. By the time I factored everything in, I paid about what I would have per pound for hamburger at Costco or one of the local butcher shops ... but I got a bunch of premium steaks and roasts that would have cost 2-3x as much per lb along with the burger. My family has absolutely LOVED the beef. I am usually a steak snob and won't bother with anything that's not a ribeye or porterhouse cut, but even the sirloin is tender and fantastic. The hamburger is excellent, best tasting burgers I've ever made at home. It is such a comfort to know exactly where my food is comong from .... that the cows are not pumped full of hormones and God only knows what else they are ethically and sustainably raised by my neighbors right here in Northeast Indiana. I highly recommend Doctor Family Farms, we will be placing another order in the Spring and filling in any gaps at their new farm store until then.
We ordered an entire cow and the entire process was very easy, the price was fair. The meat taste great and I love the way that it was packaged. I would totally recommend anyone to use Doctor Farms. You won’t be disappointed.
