Dickenson College Farm is having concerts on the farm. I stumbled across a flyer for it to night. It is a wonderful relaxing Friday night. Tonight we are listening to Leo di Stanto. Awesome folk singer and story teller. The entrance fee includes a pizza, salad and grilled veggie all from the farm. The farm is about a 1.3 mile from Boiling Springs. Since we are staying in Boiling Spring we walked. But there is ample parking. The next show is FridayAug 22.

Great resource in the community. We took our two year old when the sheep were lambing. She loved getting to see the babies. Animals rotate through fields on the farm so we weren't able to see the cows.

Here at the Carlisle House Bed and Breakfast we love to use the fresh organic produce from the farm. We used the Green Garlic Scapes to make a fabulous pesto which we use in our Spanish Quiche. Yum!

The tour of the waste of energy facility on the farm was super informative!

What a great place to learn. All kids should be exposed to places like this at some point in their learning career.
