Omg! What a charming mom and pop outlet!!! Take the time to stop in and see what's in the coolers.....some of the best meat and jerky your lips will ever enjoy. If your looking for something culinary on the side of exotic.....look here. Mussels, shrimp and other other kinds of seafood
Stopped in on a whim to grab some brats for the campfire. So freaking glad we did! Brats of flavors I've never considered as well as amazing takes on the usual. Every one I cooked in the camp fire turned out with a most satisfying crunch at the onset of the bite followed by flavorful juicy meat! ...and a clerk behind the counter to direct me to the exact meats I needed!
After being ignored for 5min I finally got my steak and when I went to pay for it the owner (Chris) couldn’t figure out how to work the card reader and told me my card was declined in front of other customers. So unbelievably rude. I don’t know about yours but my card is ALWAYS good, Chris. The time before this he didn’t realize I had a steak and when I brought up a jar of pickles to be rung up, he told me “I got a minimum!” I should have just walked out right then. This place isn’t getting another cent from me. Good thing tourists and part timers don’t know any better because if you keep treating locals like this you’re eventually going to run out of customers.
Great clean shops smell wonderful . Really nice staff even vacuum packed meet for us. Wonderful tasty Jerky and they have a fabulous selection of steaks and even veal cutlets. We will be back.
Love this meat store. They've got really big meats. Plus the extras, noodles, veggies, spices, pickled things, are all higher quality. Will be my weekly stop while I'm here.
Interesting place. Super nice people there. We bought a small handful of items. Prices were much higher than expected for some cuts.
Got a few tri-tip steaks and some bacon. The steaks were terrific, but don't miss that bacon. DELICIOUS!
Best beef jerky in the West! Awesome place to visit and tremendous selection of high quality meats.
What a great butcher! The chorizo is some of the best I’ve had. Their selection is very good and prices are what I’d expect, if not better. The jerky is very good. Steaks are delicious. I only wish is that I lived closer or that they were open later than 6pm. It’s a 13 hour drive to our cabin and we often pass through Ennis too late.
Great meat sticks and jerky! Best I’ve had in ages!!!
Their meat is so fresh that we bought steaks to take back to GA! Friendly people 😀 …
I love this store! It's not only the fact that the rotisserie chickens are always perfect, or that Meatloaf Mondays are the best start to the week, but Deemos excels in every area! Wonderful, friendly, professional staff - always helpful - a major plus. Excellent prices! In addition, the shop has everything the community could possibly want - local, free range eggs, excellent homemade salads, super beef jerky of all sorts, take and bake pizzas, and an excellent selection of meat and Catch of the Day fish. They stock a full selection of Stonewall Kitchen jams and salad dressings, and they have caviar and creme fraiche for special occasions! And if that's not enough, when you pick up your steak, grab a bunch of fresh asparagus, a couple of twice baked potatoes, and an avocado and Dinner is Served. Simply a Fabulous local resource!!!
Delicious meat and a wide variety of soups also nice people working there.
Best jerky I've yet found. Haven't the slightest clue how it is made to be so tender with such buttery flavor. Truly the best I've ever had and I do not say this lightly.
Deemo’s is much more than just a meat market and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He helped me get everything I needed for a homemade Italian spaghetti sauce for 10 people. Highly recommend
Incredible market deli for everything you need. Is a must stop and shop
What a jewel! Great meats (all local I was told), homemade jerky, and large selection of specialy/gourmet items. Also have enough fresh veggies to make a complete meal. Rotisserie chicken looked great but we have not tried yet.
Phenomenal staff and local business! The owner, Deemo, has worked hard to make an amazing butcher shop and I have had nothing but amazing service every time I go there. Their meat selection is nothing short of quality and they also have a small, amazing grocery selection. Scotty, one of their meat processors, is a phenomenal person and takes his job with the utmost profession and you can even see him work his magic on site. Ricky, the one I am most familiar with for sales (amongst others), is professional and very sweet to all customers he has contact with. I am very grateful to have such an amazing shop in the Ennis community!
Best beef jerky we've EVER had! Yes it was expensive. Thick, long, strips with great flavor. But the texture was what made this worth the stop and the price. The lady that helped us was kind and helpful and let each of my family of six taste the different kinds (regular, teriyaki, or spicy) and we were able to customize our order. Across the street we stopped at the gas station for Huckleberry Big Sky Soda fountain drinks to go with our jerky. The perfect Montana lunch!
We come up from Texas every year for 2 months and have always used Deemo's for our meat selections. This year we have called once and gone by twice for purchases. One common thing my wife and I agree on is that at least 2 different employees were less than helpful with our questions or borderline rude and we are not of the entitled type either.
We stayed in Ennis a few days while on vacation and wanted to grill some steaks. We stopped at this shop and purchased a couple of ribeyes. They were so tender and NO greasle. They were worth every penny. We couldn't have gotten a better …
I was here four years ago while visiting Yellowstone, had to return again. They are as great a place to buy meat as ever wished I had this place back home. The butcher cut my steaks special for me I just love this place.
My dad and I stopped in to buy some jerky and a package of regular beef snack stix for the trip home after fishing. Both the regular and spicy jerky had the after taste of an old cooler, and no smoky flavor. The snack stix where vile and …
Really enjoyed that meatloaf! Great flavor and texture, easily one of the best meatloafs ive ever had. The price cant be beat. Staff is good people. I'll be back to try everything else.
Well, I had heard great things about this place. We usually process our own deer, but we were pressed for time so dropped off a huge whitetail deer for processing. …
I have had Deemos process a few elk for me over the last 10 years. Their quality was adequate and their price was high but I accepted their terms. Usually I bring an elk in quartered from packing it out and have never had any problems. …
I phone ordered six packages of jerky. It arrived quickly and it is so delicious that I am sure it wouldn’t last very long. It is the best jerky I have ever eaten. Perfect!
I’ve taken Deemo’s 2 bucks so far. Both experiences have been great! This last buck I took em I had em do some jerky.. and oh my gosh!! I may just have em turn my next animal entirely into jerky! It’s so convenient to leave my buck there, …
Being in Ennis many times, I consider it one of my favorite places on earth. People and business have always been awesome until my recent visit. After dropping of two elk to have processed I was amazed at how rude some of the staff was (A …
The owner of the shop was the most disrespectful individual that I have ever encountered in the state of Montana. I asked a simple question of what I would get if I did the basic processing for an elk. He told me to look at the pricing …
