Davison Meats

I've ordered plate ribs, including Wagyu from all over the country. I went to Davidsons the other day and bought a 6lb rack, these were the best ribs I've ever found. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy. I even made the cutting board.

Super friendly folk, place is clean, meats look great. Big cuts of good looking meats, i got some YaYa burgers, brisket burgers and the twice baked potatoes. Ill let you know how my grilling goes i cant wait. Update, so I grilled up the burgers and potato, for the price go for the YaYa's for the taste definitely the brisket. As for the potato's you might want to add some seasoning or gravy, good but lack a lil flavor.

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Pork crown roast was prepared perfectly, making the prep and cooking a breeze. A real pleasure for this retired chef to work with a professional butcher again. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Super helpful, responsive and friendly. The steaks were unbelievable. So glad I have this place 2 minutes from my house! Everything was clean and well organized. This will be my butcher shop for high quality meat going forward.

I have to be honest: my Whole Foods order was short, and missing the ESSENTIAL beef bones needed to make the beef stock for my ragu recipe, and because said bones were out of stock. Davison to the rescue! I called before venturing out to make sure they had the ~ 5lbs of meaty/marrow bones. BOOM! Billie Jo set everything aside for me and as evidenced by the photo, these bones are going to make one luxurious stock. It's going to take upwards of 8 hours but low and slow brings out the richest flavor. Fully confident that I have found my new butcher shop in the NW Tucson/Oro Valley region.

Great service. I have tummy issues when I eat red meat. But I love to eat a nice steak. So I went to Davison meats and bought a really nice piece of steak. Let me just say I didn't have any tummy issues after eating it!! I was amazed! We also just got 3 hamburger patties and they were amazing. You can't get really good quality meat at grocery stores . We paid a little bit more then we would at Fry's but we got great quality meat!! Well Worth the $$.. we will definitely be going back for more!! Thanks Davison meats!!!!

I was here visiting family and as I searched “the closest meat market” Davison Meats showed up. I was just lucky to find this place. I purchased two Rib Eye steaks from the friendliest woman. I am 70 years old and I can honestly say I have never had anything taste so good! The people in Tucson are quite fortunate to have an establishment like this.

Bought a Prime ribeye on Dec 26th and cooked it the same day. Steak was dry and felt dry to the touch. Looked shriveled and dehydrated, but I gave it a try anyway. This was the only one left and I should have walked away. To my disappointment the steak was terrible and not good eating experience. I’ve cooked other Prime ribeyes and this time I was not happy. Why sell meat that’s old? $55 dollars down the drain.

Awesome place. When it comes to meat, they know their stuff. Personally I like to support smaller native places over big chain stores. The piece of meat we purchased had one left on display & it didn't look great so they immediately cut a fresh batch just so we could grab one. Place was a little busy but it's the day after Xmas & everywhere is busy but word seems to be spreading that this is the place to go for quality meat & service. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

Stopped in while we were in the area. We didn't need to purchase anything, just wanted to check the place out. Selection looks phenomenal, and customer service is gold-standard. The staff knew we weren't buying anything that day, but still were more than willing to talk us through their products and services. There was no pressure, no awkwardness, just people who seem earnestly proud to work a small business and provide quality meat to the northwest side. Absolutely cannot wait to come back and pick up a brisket or two, and try out the house sausages. Keep it up, guys!

Amazing cuts of meat. Super fresh. I love their filets, with the right seasoning, it melts in your mouth. Their tomahawks also don’t disappoint. Plus their pricing is VERY fair for the really good quality you’re getting. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Terrible display, unknowledgeable workers, does not accept EBT. Shouldn't be open if they can't accept food stamps for food. If I could leave zero stars I would. Not to mention extremely overpriced meat. $30 a pound for ribeye. $50 a pound for filet. You can literally go to a restaurant and have it prepared cheaper

Stay clear of this place! Nothing like when it opened, was very nice and friendly staff. A couple of weeks ago I walked in and promptly did a u turn. Meat on display did not look appealing, limited selection. Too bad it went downhill, was a great butcher shop owned locally.

Great selection of beef and pork in a clean setting. They are service oriented with a friendly (thank you) attitude compared to other specialty shops around. Great local addition and I’m always going to back the local guy. I would like to know more about where the meat comes from.
