I’ve been cooking for my dog and cat regularly come here for bone marrow, chicken liver, and oxtail to add to their food. I couldn’t be happier. The quality of the meat is consistently excellent!!! The friendly and welcoming environment makes each visit a pleasure. The team is knowledgeable, helpful, and always makes me feel like a valued customer. This has become my go-to butcher shop. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality products and great service! It’s a gem!

Very delicious sandwiches! I always order a brisket sandwich with cheddar cheese and a bacon, egg, and cheese. The flavors are great, and the meats are tender and tasty. The service is very friendly. I highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of visiting the store a few weeks ago. I was extremely impressed by the great service, especially a young woman who helped me. The burgers were delicious. On my second visit, I asked for two small ribeyes. The gentleman brought them over and I said no thank you, those are too big. Do you have something smaller? His response was and I quote, “Jesus!” He did find me two smaller ribeyes. This is not the kind of response or service I would expect from a high-end, quality store. Maybe he was having a bad day?

First time customer. Chose a few beef burger patties and a nice ribeye steak to try. The manager, Julio, was super accommodating as we live over an hour a half away and was able to help ice pack our purchases. The customer service was lovely and in addition the next day we grilled up the ribeye steak and omg it was amazingly delicious and melted in our mouths like butter. Best decision to walk into this butcher shop! Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

I made a purchase at this butcher shop, and since the product was frozen, I didn’t realize until I got home that I had been given the wrong one. It was a human error —something that can happen to anyone— but it was still a bit frustrating. Still, I decided to call to check if they had the meat I needed and to explain what had happened. To my surprise, their service was outstanding—they were very kind, quickly resolved the issue, apologized for the inconvenience, and provided me with the correct product at no additional cost. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I can confidently say that the service I received was exceptional. I was very pleased and will definitely continue shopping here. They offer excellent quality products, and I highly recommend them!

Brilliant scotch eggs on Saturdays. Really good sausage, they made a custom order of Cumberland recently which was phenomenal. They now have brilliant breakfast sandwiches I've been enjoying. They're available on Fridays and weekends and well-worth a try!

It is perplexing that this establishment is not listed as one of the best delis in Connecticut, as the quality of the sandwiches served here far surpasses any other deli in the area. In fact, I would go so far as to say that these are the best sandwiches I have ever had. All sandwiches are remarkable and the bread is always fresh and perfectly toasted. In terms of value, the portions are generous and satisfying, making it an excellent option for a fulfilling meal. The pricing is also reasonable, given the quality of the food and the service. This place is by far a hidden gem that deserves more recognition for its exceptional sandwiches. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality sandwich for lunch.

This place is an absolute must-try, and my weekly go-to. Everything super fresh, so many in-house made options. The sweet house-made sausage is insane how good. Best steak selection around, I make an extra trip after Whole Foods because the steaks are that much better. Time for the real street intel… The best chicken cutlet sandwich an hour in any direction. Here’s how I get mine, you’re welcome: Chicken cutlet, melted American, lettuce, tomato, red onion, light mayo, and Russian dressing. Try it. Trust me. Virtual high five.

Exceptional quality meats at Darien butcher!. Never had a bad experience, The owner and staff are always very helpful and will prepare any cuts that you want if you don’t see what you need in there wide selection. I’ve been shopping with them for about three years now and won’t buy my pork chops or beef anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Definitely the best butcher around. The sausages and burgers here really set this place apart. They are perfectly seasoned. The butchers here are very accommodating. They have literally made us burgers from scratch on the spot when they didn't have bacon cheeseburgers on hand. Very nice addition to the area.

Re-train your staff on how to talk to customers. You want business? Don't be nasty. Go to Whole Foods meat department, they are nice, and it's the same stuff. Cheaper.

Not everyone is wearing a mask when you are there, which should be a mandatory. Service is terrible. The meat is fine at best. There are better places to go.

The meat is mostly good (don’t ever dare say its not!) but prices are high and customer service poor — they’re too busy or simply don’t care.
