Dakota Butcher

Steak was great! Having recently eaten at Ruth Chris this steak was right up there. Flavoring. On point. Most local steak places near you need steak sauce. NOT here. Seasoned in point. The A1 Sat on the table and observed our meal. Great job! I'm impressed.

The Salmon Salad was $16.99, but it was just half a salmon fillet on top of cranberries, nuts, red onions, and iceberg lettuce. All under a HEAVY balsamic glaze. The salmon was good, but I don’t know if it was worth the price. I was disappointed. I know seafood might not be a “specialty” of Dakota Butcher, but I still ordered it thinking it would be a decent quality dish.

Working in the area for a few months and been to Dakota Butcher a couple of times, food has been good and so has the service, can’t really complain. I’ve had the pulled pork nachos and they were actually good but if they were to make them with homemade tortilla chips they would amazingly delicious (just a thought).

We went and sat upstairs as downstairs was full. A large party pushed all the tables together downstairs and with the flies we didnt want to sit outside. Took a little bit to get our drinks and place order. The sirloin steak and the Philly steak was good. The blt was just ok and I wasn't too crazy about the pizza. It seemed bland and the crust was weird. I wasn't crazy about the fries either. They were different. The service was good. Even upstairs, the server came up and checked on us and was really nice. The salad bar had enough options to build a good salad even though it is small and there was one type of soup to choose from. The prices are about as consistent as everywhere else. The menu has a lot of options on it, but only 3 options for the kids menu. We might try it again.

We have been to Dakota Butcher several times in the past few years. Always great food and service. Their Rib Eye Steaks are incredible! We live out of state but are visiting again. Plan to be there tonight.

We picked out a rib-eye steak and had them cook it to order. It was absolutely delicious. We've been to the nearby steak House downtown ( I won't mention the name but it rhymes with Maverick) . Anyway this place has way better food. The stakes are much more delicious and I would highly recommend it. While you're there pick up some of their amazing specialty items, pickled polish sausage, the list goes on and on!

My friend Joecie and I decided to go to Dakota Butcher to celebrate, and to say we were pleased is an absolute understatement. Our food was gone in sheer minutes, it was so delicious. Our food came fast, and our waitress, Audrey, was a dream. I would definitely recommend Dakota Butcher to anyone in the Watertown area.

I went in on a Wednesday evening to have dinner on a recommendation. I arrived, was never greeted, never spoken to.. I tried to follow an employee but was not able to get their attention. After a while, I said to heck with it and went to Mavericks Steak and Cocktails, where. I was promptly greeted, seated and served an excellent meal. Guess which restaurant earned my return business?

Food was excellent! We had burgers, a salad and the chislic; all of it was very good. The Mac n cheese side was great! Service was good. It’s took a little while to get our food, but was worth the wait. Would definitely eat there again
