Dakota Butcher

My grandkids and I really enjoy the beef sticks, there is a nice selection of fresh cuts and some fresh, prepared meats and veggies. Their freezer section has some nice choices also. They’ll even fresh bake one of their pizzas for you. Everyone here is friendly.

The last 2 years we have had Dakota Butcher cater our annual holiday party in Brookings SD. The food was delicious, budget friendly. In the past our group has always had a complaint about the food but the last couple of years we have had DB there has been nothing, but GREAT things said about the food and there is always enough to bring back to our night crews who could not make it. Would definitely recommend Dakota Butcher for any event!

Great steaks, ribs are ok. My only complaint; is went there 2 nights in a row (tues,wed) w my coworkers and for the place not being busy, we waited way too long for our food. 47min .... Theres only 4 of us....

Very friendly staff. Best smoked meats around, but need to get there around 5:30 to get the freshest of the chicken and ribs. Try out the large variety of fresh made pizzas. Added Keurig single serve flavored alcohol coffees. Try them, absolutely delicious!

All of the meets, dips, etc are great!

Good clean seems like a nice business I guess we know where to go when there is a need for good meat

Wonderful selection. They have homemade take and bake pizza, frozen fully cooked hot wings, tons of fresh meat options, fresh vegetables (peppers and onions), homemade sides (baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad), fully cooked ribs and rotisserie chicken to go. WOW!

Maybe because we weren’t locals but the customer service was not very good. The meat we bought was very good and would have bought more but it seems we were in their way.

If you are looking for good food and friendly staff and not to mention great prices on spirits this is the place to go! Don't even get me started on the pizzas yummy 😋 but if you have never been there then just go in to look around and im sure you will go home with alot of something and love it. So what are you waiting for just try it already.😊

Pork chops! The meats sold here are so fresh and tender. You'll love this store from the moment you walk in and smell the smoker. Variety? It's here too. Alligator, shrimp, bison and more. This place is the best!

Try their BBQ chicken pizza! It is amazing!! It has 1/2 pizza & 1/2 BBQ sauce. You can call to see if they have one already made and if they don't they will make one for you. Super nice people working there too!! Try them, you'll like them!!

fresh cuts of beef! the stuffed jalaepeno's and "Texas Toothpick" jalapenos are excellent. Stuffed Mushrooms were also excellent, I look forward to shopping here more. the price on the side 'grillables' is a little high but the quality makes it worth it! in the attached picture is 2 Prime Rib-eyes that were mouth watering good! Also, see stuffed jalapeno's, stuffed mushrooms, cole slaw, noodle things, and jalapeno cheddar burger as well as bleu cheese and pepper burger! EDIT: Update, I had some beef from here that I was not 100% satisfied with, I brought this to the attention of the owner we chatted a little bit and he made the situation right! customer service still exists! Keep up the good work Dakota Butcher. I'll be in when I'm in the area to load up on fresh cut beef!

Very happy with the customer service i got when i stop by for the first time to check out the liquor store wanted to try something new didnt know what to get and the guy behind the counter was happy to help me. He gave me a few choices that he sells alot of and he also gave me a few to try the next time i stoped in. definitely going to come here more

My family waited for an hour and a half just to leave without food, there was also a family next to us that was there for longer with 2 small children

Great selection of meats, cheeses, dips, and homemade pizzas. Fantastic price and very nice staff. I stop here about once a week.

Wonderful selection of meat with great cuts. They offer a variety of options, and always have something amazing to try. Arguably the best butcher shop in the state!

Great snacks and fresh foods

I think they have a Bad night in the Kitchen!!! Sorry but True.i brought out of town company for Dinner and was very disappointed. 11_20_2018. Anyway I'm sure they will correct the problem.Thanks.
