Great Facility and Staff. We visited for CSUC Swine Day and had a great time.
Very open and easily accessible. The cows along the fenceline by the road are very welcoming. The manure pit smell reminds me of the hunt. However, the pigs were all squished together in their pens like animals and not able to even turn around in their pens. Also there are bees from nearby hives that are fairly aggressive. I had to run for my life from one bee who may have mistaken me for a tulip. All in all, I enjoyed my visit and learned a lot about the sows.
Received my degree from the college of Ag. Great learning environment, lots of hands on. Being an undergrad you get more hands on here then at colleges with graduate programs. You actually are being taught by the PHD at this college.
We went to an event in the Pavillion. It was lovely but kind of warm. The fans helped a little.
A good way for agriculture students to learn. The meat lab was clean and efficient. Good selection. Friendly students.
Picked peaches that look and taste amazing. Also stopped at the meat lab and bought some meat . Great service
