Cow Palace

I had Cow Palace meat for first time at family BBQ. It was so amazing I drove 2 hrs to see “Cow Palace” I tried quite a few things that were delicious and drove another 2 hours two weeks later to stock up on my favorites. The service is very personal and the meats and salads are excellent quality and well priced. They also have the fastest and sweetest cashier I have ever seen. Almost ready for another rewarding 2 hr drive. Thank you Anne and Tommy💕

So bought the valentines day dinner for 2 and felt compelled to talk about it. Too be fair I'm gonna break this down into 2 separate parts, food v. Price. So the meal is $100 and comes with 2 appetizers, 2 entrees with side and 2 deserts. The food itself for what it is, was good. I picked the food up at 4:05pm with schedule pickup time for 4pm. For reference we ordered the shrimp cocktail and mozzarella tomatoes stack for app, 2. 6oz filet mignon steaks with side of twice baked potatoes, and Chocolate lava cake and cheesecake for dessert. The steak and potatoes needed to be reheated which wasn't a big deal and were overall okay. For the apps I got 3 shrimp for the shrimp cocktail app and my wife got 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of mozzarella. The "chocolate lava cake" is misrepresented. The "lava cake" is just a chocolate muffin with chocolate frosting drizzled on top, that is not remotely close to what actual lava cake is supposed to be. So overall the food itself was a 3 out of 5 stars. The reason why I'm giving this review 2 stars is because the price is a ripoff. I decided to go on cow palaces website to breakdown the meal so it's represented properly. If I were to have just ordered everything separately I would have paid less and got more food. The 2 steaks would have cost $20, twice baked potatoes $8, 1lb of mozzarella tomatoe $4, and 1lb of cooked shrimp with tail on (not 3 shrimp) $11 and change. They don't have deserts listed on the website so I'm being generous in saying $10 each. Total that all up and the real price for this meal should have been roughly $63. Mind you I picked everything up and had to reheat the food as well have a misrepresented desert in the chocolate lava cake. So given everything I'm rating this valentines day special 2 out of 5 stars. The foods not bad but the price v. what you get is absurd. If your plan is to buy this meal I recommend you buy everything separately and pay less. Photos below for reference.

They catered my wedding on 9.7.2024 they did an absolutely amazing job. They were efficient, delicious, well priced, and made my day so extra special. Everybody still talks about how amazing the food was. They catered my engagement party last year and thats when we knew we wanted them for the wedding. Amazing amazing company. I couldnt recommend them more. We had cocktail hour (bacon wrapped scallops, chicken gyoza, caprese skewers, shrimp cocktail) and for dinner we had whole lobsters, lobster mac and cheese, filet mignon, chicken piccata, caesar salad, caprese, roasted veg, roasted potatoes, butternut squash ravioli. When i say best food ever i mean it. EVERYBODY still raves about the food.

Love this place I used to go to the Cow Palace in Middle Island where Maria owned and I followed her to the Rocky Point one just love this place I will not buy my meat anywhere else other than Cow Palace. When I first moved here 25 years ago I used to go to a supermarket to buy meat never again. Cow Palace has the best quality meats, at reasonable prices.

Excellent butcher shop! Everyone is friendly and prices are not bad at all! Excellent filet mignon! First time there and will make the hour drive to come get my steaks here!

We don't live on LI anymore, but when we visit, this is a must stop. Stock up, load the cooler, and bring it back to NC.

I knew they were good, but didn’t realize how efficient the store and handling my catering and all the food. Hot and cold was awesome.

Usually really happy with everything here. I recently purchased a "crab" stuffed flounder and was disappointed to find the crab is imitation crab meat. The flounder filet was full of bones also.

Ordered an early Thanksgiving dinner for 25 people this past weekend. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful.

Long lines but worth it! Meat is packaged beautifully for transport home! So fresh and delicious!
