Cossey's Custom Cut Meats

The staff was very nice. Some of the meat looked really aged and/or freezer burned. But we did get a couple of filets and ribeyes out the butcher's case. My husband complain that it was a little pricey especially because the meat wasn't grass-fed.

You will never buy meat at Big Chain stores again. Seriously, get and try Ground Beef; IT HAS FLAVOR AGAIN! When you return get anything you want here. It's All fresh cut and they only use cows that haven't been on antibiotics, etc. No chemicals! No coloring! Never Frozen! What doesn't sell in 24hrs is marked down until it's gone the next day. Any fresher it would still be mow'ing and eating grass.

Wow! The season chicken and beef fajitas were on point. The best I have ever had.

Amazing place to get high quality meats and snacks. Amazing jerky, amazing sausages and amazing beef. We love the bacon here too. If you have never been, I highly suggest you try their meat!! Lots of other delicious items to try too. Stuffed pork chops, brisket etc.

I feel terrible that I’ve been a patron of this place for YEARS, but only finally review them when I’ve had a less than satisfactory experience. As I said, I’ve been a FAITHFUL customer for probably 12-15 years. I’ve referred SO many people to Cossey’s. They’ve got a LOT of things going for them, and my previous experiences with them have been phenomenal. But LATELY something’s been off. I don’t know why, but I’ve been disappointed by the steaks I’ve been purchasing from them lately. I mean REALLY disappointed. And I’m choosing to buy my steaks from other places where I’m having better experiences (not dedicated meat markets). The last time I purchased from Cossey’s, I went straight to the display case and bought the “ugliest” (aka “the best”) T-Bone and Strip Steak and both of them were meh…and I feel terrible saying so. These good Christian folks deserve success, but they need to look closely at what’s going on with their product. I’m curious to know if others are having similar experiences. Trust me…I will amend this post when the issues I’ve experienced are no longer issues.

I went here to get some fat to add to my ground venison and this was the place to go. Fair prices, friendly and helpful staff, an easy to access location, and they’re a local small business. I will definitely continue to use them
