About

Columbia Farms (House of Raeford) appears to be a chicken processing facility that focuses on logistics and loading operations for transporting poultry products. The reviews indicate a primary function of managing the loading and unloading of chicken products, with an emphasis on the experience of truck drivers at the facility. The business likely provides services related to poultry rather than a wide range of agricultural products.

Well, overall experience was good. Everyone was nice and helpful. You can no longer park at the strip mall across the street. They have both entrances closed. Just park on the shoulder or street in front of the chicken plant and check in. The check in is on the back side of the blue dumpster and beside dock 1. It is not recommended to come to this place from the west as you will have to do a u-turn across 4 lanes of traffic. It gets pretty busy down there and there is a blind hill. They will help you back up. Disconnect and park close by and wait for a phone call to go sign paperwork and hook up to trailer.

So over all nothing to complain about just broker forgot to mention all loads coming out have to call first because it's a fcfs facility. Ill attach a Pic to help you future drivers. Call before coming

As other mentioned this place is not easiest to back to the dock. Actually, it does not have any own yard or staging area. However, my loading process after the backing to the dock was pretty quick and organized.

Dock manager needs to leave the drivers alone and let them do what they do! If we need help with backing or anything else, we will ask. Took me twice as long to dock because of this guy!!! Saw a bunch of chicken dumped on the ground from a dock because dock manager was directing driver to pull out too soon.

They tell ya to park on sidewalk, meanwhile there is no room on sidewalk as they have a lot of pallets covering it up forcing you to park in the street. Once you start setting up, pay attention to the dock hand outside trying to help you back in. Dude was all around the truck helping out and after a pull up or two we got in no problems. Was then told to drop trailer and park across st in the parking lot. Once loaded they will call and tell you to go back across the street and hook up, pull up to close doors and he seals trailer THEN go back across the street and wait for another phone call to go BACK AGAIN for the paperwork... N good luck with parking across the street, very tight lot and trucks everywhere, specially with the dam poles in the lot.

Park across the street and walk over to the building the driver check in is on the left side of the building by the docks. It’s in a small building on the side of the docks with a sign above it. Update: the parking lot across from the building is closed off so the only way to park is in front of the driver check in on the side walk good luck πŸ‘πŸΎ

Don't ever go there !! We've been waiting over there for 16 hours. There is no place to park so they will ask you to leave and find the truckstop One of the worst facilities I've ever been. Be safe!

Taking up this load with bad reviews on both sides but as a shipper, my appt was at 0900 and I got a door at 0630, the small docks are unconventional to say the least but the guy in the warehouse helped me back into my door inbetween two trailers and it was a tight spot. Getting loaded a few hours early, saving me time and helping me back in are why I am giving this place 4 stars. Not looking doeward to cosignee in Chicago but whatevs lol!

I keep asking where do the employees park for the chicken processing plant, since across the street isn't available and it REFUSES to answer

Nice staff. Backing into docks is tight you have to back in from the street.
