So this would be my first time purchasing meat in this quantity. I called this place and the rudest man answered the phone . I asked “how much is a half cow?” He answered “I don’t sell half cows.” I waited a second for him to do the customer service thing and tell me what they offered. Then I asked “well what do you sell?” He then said only whole cows. I said “How much for a whole cow?” He said “How big?” I said excuse me he said how big? I attempted to say this is my first time and he cut me off and said well when you figure it out call me back and hung up. My offspring was standing right here and said “wow that was rude. That’s not how you get customers.” We are a family of 6. Hence why I’m looking to purchase in bulk. When I do “figure it out” my thousands will go elsewhere.
This is then type of people they hire. I made a comment on a Monterey county post about littering after Curtis McCoy commented about the employee educating the people who use the picnic areas and littering. Guess Curtis McCoy didn’t like what I had to say and came after me. If this is the type of behavior you at that ranch find acceptable keep him.
Do not di business with these people. They treat their animals horribly. Dead cow carcasses are left in the creek that runs through a property they lease. Hog tie dead calves and haul them to the farthest side of property. I have talked to him about this and he just said mind my own business and hung up on me. Very rude from the start.
Will open space area for the cattles. Came here to get two cows for family function. Service by the owner was great. Friendly and price is affordable. Keep in mind this is not a slaughter house so all come services were manual work by hand. Bring someone experience to help out.
Nice people, busy place, healthy animals and grounds well taken care of. Owner is a very nice person, we did our business and I left very happy.
