Great local butcher shop with a selection of just about everything you would need for a summer cookout or a low country boil! Plenty of local wines and beers to choose from as well. They also have several freezer display cases with ice cream, biscuits, soups, lobster, sausages, fish and I can’t remember what else! The staff is helpful and friendly and suggest cuts depending on your needs. Think this is the only place that dry ages beef!! They were aging some monsters tomahawk steaks on my visit. Be sure to sign up for the rewards program as well. Shop Local! Florida Man Approved!

I REALLY want to love this place. However, I have definitely gotten meat here that wasn't fresh. I wish they would be transparent with customers about what day of the week they get their meat. And the plastic bags they wrap meet in SMELL SO BAD. Please stop :( Also, most of the wines they sell you can buy at Target for like $15...

This is the place to get your meat. It's fresh. It's better than any supermarket around here. The service is fantastic, always welcoming, helpful, and friendly.

Very cool shop. Lots of specialty items, lots of premium meats and cheeses. Definitely great place to find hard to find items. Give them a shot, you will be impressed...

Come here pretty often for meat and haven't had any bad experiences. Always tastes great and like to get some other ingredients from here as well such as produce. They also usually got a coffee shop right outside that I recommend buying from.

Wow what a very pleasant surprise. Excellent local butcher shop. Very nice facility, super clean, lots of extra goodies without being an entire grocery store. Decent supplemental produce section. I won’t do my daily shopping here obviously but for those special steaks. But I will be coming back for some of their sausage on a regular basis that much I can tell you. Butcher was very friendly.

Great local butcher shop for high quality meat! So glad we found them. We bought an assortment of steaks and scallops for a poolside picnic to treat our hosts and everyone was impressed with the quality and quantity. My son purchased a dry aged ribeye and said it's the best steak he's ever had, much less cooked, and he's had some pretty fancy expensive steak. 😄 We will definitely make it a point to shop here whenever we are in town. 👍

Updated: we don't buy our meat anywhere else. The quality is top notch, so tender and delicious. It is worth every penny if you enjoy eating delicious food. Restaurant quality food in your own kitchen. LOVE THIS PLACE!! 6 months ago: we buy shrimp, bacon, scallops, crabcakes, chicken breast, wings, fillet, they make wonderful tenderloin skewer meat, sausage. Everything is so delicious. Great quality meats. It's worth every penny!! They make a lot of wonderful pre-made foods too. I'm so glad they are local. Thank you!

If you haven’t been to Chop Shop Artisan Butcher yet... go now. There is an amazing selection of meat, produce and a few other goodies all from local farms. So far, I’ve purchased the ribeye, chicken, chorizo, aged cheeses and lots of produce. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back soon for the scallops, duck confit, and more! Also, if you love mimosas you’re definitely going to have to get some of the Shrub from Congaree and Penn (sold at Chop Shop). It’s like nothing you’ve ever had before. My two favorite flavors are Blueberry/Myer Lemon and Strawberry/Key Lime. AND it’s made with apple cider vinegar so it’s healthy too, right? LOL 🤣🥂🙌🏻

Great local butcher. I went in on a Saturday evening near closing. The staff had me set up with everything I needed to make dinner in Airbnb. Full service, to say the least. Excellent steaks and all the accoutrements available.

Always such a great place to stop in. I saw on my email they had PEI mussels so stopped in today. Braised them with garlic and red pepper flakes. Added some white wine and butter. Finished with fresh parsley. Served them over linguini. So tender and juicy and briny.

We are here on vacation and have gone twice already. The halibut was wonderful, the steak was fantastic and the bacon was tasty. We even purchased some pasta, olives and such.

I've been here twice, while the store is very clean and has knowledgeable staff. The variable meats is lacking, the sausage/brat seasoning options is either okay to very gross. Overall in my experience shopping it's got more buyers remorse …

They ask you to tip at a grocery store. I love this place otherwise but it’s unbelievably weird and greedy to ask me to tip 20% on a hundred dollar steak.

Went for the first time last Saturday. The woman at the cash register wasn’t particularly happy or friendly but the butcher was excellent. Got some Terres Major steak and a couple of Crab Cakes. They were a bit on the pricey side but so worth it! Flavor of both was excellent - highly recommend this place!
