Ground beef is the best! Always fully stocked, marinated chicken breasts are so tender. Tri tips, delish! And oh my, the prime rib seasoned!! Wow! And of course the staff! Absolutely the best folks! Always friendly, they work hard and the sandwiches are a hit! Only place we go for meat!

Highest Quality people! Highest Quality food! Deli is amazing I had the Spectacular Hot Pastrami sandwich this time.. Also picked up some peppered Bacon made in house, because Bacon make everything better. Take the time to stop and see them you will forever thank me and them!!

All there meat is fabulous! There sandwiches are something that must be tried to believe how amazing they really are! The marinated tri- tips are UNBELIEVABLE!

Recently bought a half beef and was charged for 400 lbs of hanging weight, but I only received about 220 lbs of actual meat, even though I asked to keep all the bones and trimmings. That means almost half of it just disappeared, which makes no sense. When I asked about it, they told me that “it depends on the cow” and that “you lose about 30%,” but this is far more than that. On top of that, the ground beef has a strange smell and taste, nothing like fresh or quality beef should. I paid $2800 expecting great meat for my family, but I’m honestly very disappointed. I was hoping to support a local business and stock up for the year, but this experience left me feeling cheated and frustrated.

Great products. Just don’t ask the staff for help or recommendations. They either don’t know or are too busy to answer questions about the products in their meat case. Just pick what you think will be good and it probably will be. Even though there was only one other customer in the store, they gave my 84 year old father and me the Seinfeld “Soup Nazi” treatment. Cashier was agitated that Dad was moving slow, the new girl with pink hat and glasses must have been a vegan. Couldn’t answer the most basic of sausage questions. Hence my review score. Products 5. Service 1. Overall score 3. Go to Raley’s on East Avenue if you can. Have a union worker you a marinated tri tip. Price and service will be much better.

I got a roast beef sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal. They also had a wide variety of meat cuts. I will definitely be back.

Oh boy, I had the most tender and tasty pastrami sandwich in decades. House made and fresh beyond belief. The gals working the front counter were helpful and friendly, even carried out orders for customers from the butcher counter. Looks to me like plain, old-fashioned service not seen often anywhere anymore. Kudos to all!!

Awesome meats, sausages and sandwiches here! The tri tip is phenomenal!

This is an old-fashioned, full-service butcher shop with a deli! I grabbed a sandwich, the daily special, and will find reasons to drive the hour to Chico in the future as there are many more items on the menu to sample; sausages and various cuts of meat. I will be grabbing a tri-tip for the BBQ next time.

Love the ladies behind the counter! Greatest prices for sub sandwiches in town clean and local products! My children are regulars!
