We arrived in Palmyra, Virginia, for an invitation to a wedding. wow!! This farm is incredible, if what you are looking for is to disconnect from the hustle and bustle for a few days, this is the perfect place. There are several vacation homes. Ours was incredible, with two exterior porches, a nice and comfortable living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, without missing a detail, as well as impeccably clean (the whole house) A beautiful patio with a fire pit and grill where we enjoyed of beautiful sunsets. In the mornings we walked through those hills, where we saw cows, horses, pigs, chickens and the vegetable garden. When we arrived we had some complimentary eggs and tomatoes in the fridge and of course we made a small order of ground beef for our burgers. Delicious meat. It is perfect for a family or romantic vacation, and children will enjoy the fresh air here. We will certainly return.

I will begin with light and positivity. The farm is beautiful. If you are left to enjoy it, it can be a peaceful Oasis. However, as this is being used as an AirBnb, the hosting is HORRIBLE. I booked here because I was going to be spending my birthday weekend going to my dad's funeral. My family was met with nothing but weird paranoia and baffling rudeness. We left a day early and booked a hotel because they caused so much anxiety. We were accused of things when we were just minding our business and we left the place pristine. We do not even know who the host really is because we got phone calls from different people. I found out later that other's have had similar run ends, they just didn't say anything. (that sure would have helped me not book)I won't go into details, I feel like the universe takes care of what it needs to. Just beware if your intention is to stay there.

We absolutely loved our stay at the sunflower cottage! The farm is so beautiful and was very Dog friendly. We drove around and got to see the pigs, cows, and horses which were all so cute. The best part was being able to place an order for their grass fed meats and produce that was delivered to the air bnb! We cooked the rib eyes one night and they were some of the best steaks we have ever had. We are taking some home! We plan to come back and stay longer next time. The town over Scottsville was so cute as well to explore.
