My wife visits your place regularly. She always speaks highly of the staff and, most importantly, the quality of the meat. At our house, steak night is highly anticipated! I had a chance to visit for the first time. Before we even got in the store, I experienced the service my wife raved about. As we were approaching the shop, 3 older ladies were outside looking through the windows. They tried to open the door and were having trouble opening it. They thought the place was closed. The employee saw what was going on and ran outside to let the ladies know that they were indeed open. I thought that was amazing in today's world where we see so many people not paying attention or caring. Once I got in, I was very impressed! Check them out!

I stopped in here on a whim because I had been looking for a local butcher, and I was blown away by this little shop. First, the prices are excellent, especially since the products are such high quality. I've purchased steaks, pork belly, bacon, and tuna so far, and everything was tasty, fresh, and exceptional quality. Second, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable too and provides excellent service. They also have a great selection of Ashe County cheese, some local vegetables, and a bunch of sauces too. I highly recommend stopping in!

I've been so excited about this place opening! Great place to buy Ashe County Cheese products. Don't sleep on their butter. They have everything you need to BBQ including charcoal and redneck bbq lab sauce. Lots of NC products. They have options for local beef. Ready for my steaks tonight.

I love this locally owned, locally raised meat shop. They not only have all my meat preferences, they even have what I need for my dogs…marrow bones, knuckle bones and a great variety of organ meats for homemade nutritious dog food.

We love that they sell local meat and eggs from pasture-raised chickens. We bought ground beef in bulk from them for a party once and everyone raved about the burgers! Their pimento cheese is great, too. Service is always fantastic!

Got some great steaks and pork belly burnt ends as always. I tried some of their new seasonings. Made some wings with the Yardbird. It's really good. Gotta try the coffee seasoning next.

Excellent meat market with great prices!! Very clean shop!! Vegetables, spices, and sauces are also available for the whole meal. Love the stuffed chicken and stuffed chops!!

I live in Chapel Hill and on my drive to see my parents I pass by this nice friendly local establishment. From my first purchase the staff was super friendly, nice, and inviting. The gentleman working gave me an overview of what they had to offer and I purchased crab-cakes, sirloin, bacon, pimento cheese, chicken salad, and 3 awesome well fitted hats. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you 🙏🏼

My first experience with this shop was AWESOME. The person behind the counter was very helpful and understood the cuts of beef they offered. Talked at length about the product and everything they offered. Update starts here..... Had an opportunity to share my experiences with the owner, and he really cares about his customers and took the time to talk to me about one specific incident. I visited the store again, and the first guy was there along with another gentleman who were both examples of good, down home, customer focused service. I can't wait to continue my relationship with this location and the fine people behind it all. I really appreciate the personal attention and the high quality of their product. I really appreciate the care the owner took to help me out. That is missing in so many places but is here for sure!
