Awesome shop with great staff. Both personnel working today were kind, knowledgable, and were quick with my order. I really like that they had multiple meat bundles for different preferences and price ranges. They have everything you need or have an answer on how they can get it to you. I also enjoyed that everything seemed to be sourced locally and from small businesses. Will be coming back!

I have passed by this place many times when traveling from Fayetteville to Raleigh. I finally stopped in today, and I will definitely be going back. The grass fed ribeyes had insane marbling. I cooked them on my humble iron skillet, and they were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The fat layer on their New York strips was absolutely beautiful, and these knowledgeable and forthright practitioners of the trade did not cut it all off like the mean grocers or uptight butchers do-instead, these bohemian fat loving renaissance men left it on as a treat for those of us who know what good beef fat really is. I cooked a New York strip for my wife in the iron skillet, cut off all the fat for myself and left her the meat. The meat was choice, but that fat layer was a dream come true - i am, at this moment, wistfully longing for another bite of it. They also sell grass fed beef fat trimmings for making tallow. I rendered some into tallow tonight as I couldn’t wait, and it was absolutely silky and delicious. I can’t wait to fry hand cut french fries in it. Congratulations to these good folks on a first class butcher shop that’s not afraid to give us the fat we deserve! What a nice find!

The weekly bundles are hard to beat, the cuts are always fresh. I am spoiled and never want to buy steak at rhe grocery store any longer. Friendly staff. Fast service. Awesome place!

Great meat products. I love going there for the product but have to give it less than 5 stars because of the tense atmosphere. Not sure what exactly the problem is but there's been a silent, cold-shoulder tension between employees every time I've walked in lately. Makes for uncomfortable shopping even if it's not directed towards the customer.

I stopped into the shop yesterday. I bought three T-bone steaks. They were delicious. I also bought some stuffed jalapeño peppers wrapped in bacon and crab dip. They were also very good. They had homemade ranch dressing and it is some of the best I have ever tasted.
