Had my daughter’s first birthday here. The kids get to pet the goats and bunnies and ride on the horse. Great place for a party! Animals are very well taken care of too! They also have a cute little store with awesome handmade soaps and lotions! Highly recommend
I have too many great things to say about Channell Homestead to fit into this review! It is such a wonderful, clean, safe, family friendly and inviting atmosphere. All of the animals are beautifully taken care of, any and all people working are happy to help answer questions, and best of all, the animals are so cute to see!!! And don’t even start on the farm stand products! They are always so high quality and great on your skin! Some of my favorites are the goats milk soap, goat milk lotion, beeswax chapstick, and magnesium body butters. Overall 10/10 love Channell Homestead!!!!
Great for allot of kids at a bday party. There's so many thin be to do they don't fight! Claire🐻 had a great 2nd bday …
What a delightful place to experience goat yoga for the first time! It takes place in a large barn with a dirt floor and for an hour you’re just there enjoying the antics of and interactions with the goats. The instructor is lovely and relaxed and adds to the fun. I think I even did some yoga! Great for all ages from young kids, who were giggling the whole time, to my 92 year old mom.
We absolutely love our sandy Flemish Giant Chocolate Chip Waffles from Channell Homestead. She came to us already well socialized and very healthy. The communication was excellent and made for a great experience.
Had an amazing day with my son today at this Farm. Such amazing employees. Found the event on 365 things to do south shore website and it was a great one. $5 per person per animal snuggles, and you could bring a list of things to feed the animals. For the number of people attended it needed instructions to avoid confusion as there was none but overall my son enjoyed it all which was the end goal. We fed a horse, a huge rabbit, chicken, goose, rode a pony, held a bunny, fed several goats, had fun on the playground. He was reluctant to leave. Bought a honey jar, and honey sticks that my son devoured right away🤦🏿♀️, and also a CBD soap that smells amazing.
If you’re looking for a fun place to do goat yoga, buy some AMAZING goat milk soaps, and pet some cute baby animals born on the farm, Channell Homestead is the place for you! I have such great experiences every time I visit. All of the workers are so helpful, kind, and never fail to answer a question! ❤️ All of the animals are so friendly and relaxed around people! A great place to go with your children interested in farm life. Literally have nothing bad to say about this place! 🤣
In 2020 my family attended a birthday party here. My daughter was just 4. As she got older and more interested in all things farm,in 2023 we were able to sign her up for horse back riding lessons. The staff makes the experience that much better. You will find true compassion for animals, kindness and an overwhelming feeling of welcomeness. My daughter’s horse back riding lessons lead her to a love for goats, which brought her to join a local 4H. I highly recommend channell homestead for many different activities! Bonus there is a farm stand that sells AMAZING goat milk products at a very reasonable price.
It was my first time visiting! They have fresh eggs, soaps, chapstick, goats milk lotions, body butters, balm, honey, etc.
Everyday is a good day at the Channell homestead! I have brought my children to events here and I enjoyed them just as much as they did! The farm is family friendly, events are well organized and the farm is a safe environment for people of all ages. Christanie is an exceptional care taker to all her animals and is a wealth of knowledge in all things homesteading. I have had nothing but great experiences here and highly recommend visiting the farm if you are interested in animal snuggles, horse back riding lessons, or if you are in need of homemade items she also has a farm stand out front with homemade goats milk soaps, lotions, honey and eggs from the farm. 10/10!
