Highly recommend! Nick is friendly and professional. He communicates well for easy drop off and pickup. We needed to process 12 pigs within a short time frame, Nick was up for the challenge and did a great job! The packaging is clean and his cuts are beautiful and tasty! We will definitely think of him for future farm processing.

I’ve used Central Va Custom Meats for beef processing since they opened their doors. We have been beyond pleased with the level of service they have provided to us as a producer of beef. Our customers have all raved about how well the processed beef was packaged and properly labeled. They did a few standing rib roasts on one of our steers that were nothing short of a work of art. Not many butchers can provide that level of detail. I can’t recommend this business enough! 5+ stars.

I started taking my deer to Nick last year and I have been overly pleased with the meat I get. The only place I know that you take your deer and you are getting your deer back. Other places through a bunch of deer into the grinder and you don’t know if you’re getting your deer or someone else’s deer back. Nick is awesome to work with and I recommend everyone I know to use him. Great quality and great business.

Another great experience with Nick and Central VA Custom Meats. He has processed a bear and a cow for us, and the quality of his work has been nothing short of excellent. I've debated on writing a review due to all the previous 5 star reviews, but our experience with Central Virginia Custom Meats has been an absolute nightmare. We purchased 1/2 a cow from a local farmer who previously supplied us with beef for years and have had no complaints whatsoever. With Central Virginia Custom Meats, not only did it take several weeks longer than promised, we were not supplied with the amount of beef that was expected from similar weight cattle that were previously processed at another local processor. The fat content of the burger was excessive and the cut meat was almost inedible due to the toughness. This is not the type of meat quality that was promised or expected. Unfortunately, all of this beef will be fed to our dogs or thrown out, due to the quality of it. I am all for recommending local businesses but do not recommend this company.

Super impressed with Nick and his work. The summer sausage is some of the best I've ever had. The bacon deer burger we definitely enjoy, we eat it all year long. Y'all definitely need to check him out, he has a wonderful operation going. I'll take all my deer to him for sure!!!!

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Central Virginia Custom Meats. I took my deer in to be processed this passed season, and I must say, they did an outstanding job. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional, treating me like a valued customer. When I picked up the meat, it was clear they put a lot of care into the process. The cuts were perfect, and everything was vacuum-sealed and labeled neatly for easy storage. The wait took some time, but any business who is doing well is going to have a lot of customers! It was absolutely worth the wait for the quality of the final product. Oh... and did I mention, I cooked some up when I got home and boy oh boy was it good! If you’re looking for top-notch deer processing, I highly recommend Central Virginia Custom Meats. They really know their stuff, and I’ll definitely be bringing my deer to them again next season!
