The BEST farm for quality, pasture raised meat! The meat is always fresh with wonderful flavor. My family loves it. The owner is so kind and answers any questions quickly. I made a mistake on my order and he helped me via email. The website is so easy to use. The delivery is free and seamless. Cathis makes it so convenient to order their high quality meat. They even have recipes that showcase their products. We really love their turkey. We ordered some frames for the first time thinking it would be perfect for bone broth. WOW WOW WOW what a treat. Just one package made over 2 gallons of delicious turkey soup! The family didn't even give me a chance to jar most of it! Give Cathis a try you will not be disappointed and you will become loyal customers like us! And many thanks and blessings to David and his family for all their dedication and HARD work in providing us with nutritious and delicious meat! GOD bless our farmers!
What a pretty farm. I stopped in today to scope out what might be the best plan for their event next weekend which is their Christmas in July event with vendors. They have organized the parking and directions well! I really like how they made it easy to understand where to go. You pay for your people before you park. I had my dog and she was able to go along on leash. They do accept cards. We parked and they had trash cans in the parking area. I guess I appreciate the small stuff like guidance, directions, and a trash can 🌻. You need to understand you will be walking through a flower garden! Should you decide to wear fancy clothing or shoes just remember bees 🐝 love flowers and you share the field with insects, probably snakes, bugs, uneven dirt etc. I saw some people have props for pictures. You get a free flower with admission and filler flowers but the extra sunflowers will cost. I took some pictures in the flower garden. Headed to concessions for water and lemonade. Then I made my way to the store and bought a few candles, dog treats, and apple butter. I probably spent more money than I had to spend but I really liked the people and the farm.
A fun place to just kick back and relax with a cup of hot cider or cocoa, roast marsh mellows at the fire pit, and enjoy family time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The wagon ride, the Grinch and Santa meet are all worth the visit in itself. Recommend fixing some non working lights. There was no kids art craft section and no large bounce house with slide when we were there on 12/2. We enjoyed our family night out otherwise! Highly recommend visiting this gem and adding the photo option. Check it out for yourself!
Best day ever at the Cathis Farm Dino Hunt Adventure. We drove through a dino adventure and used our nerf dart blasters to hold back the dinosaurs. Great for the kiddos! You can ride around as many times as you like!
Came for some classic fall activities of corn maze and pumpkins... Ended up disappointed in both. We try to support small biz/local farms etc, but this one fell short. The price of admission ($12 each person, which would be reasonable if it included a pumpkin or at least offered fun activities and amenities), was far too high for the lackluster "corn maze" that utilized plastic banners lining between sections of ankle high weeds (see photos) and small selection of overpriced pumpkins ($12 per). The hostess-style minidonuts were also expensive, $5 for a small bag of 6 mini plain donuts sprinkled with some cinnamon. There was a bounce house slide though... 🤤
Wonderful place to take sunflower pictures. We did the 9-11am slot for pics and it was Great!! The CF TEAM were awesome to work with and made the process fun and easy!! I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back year after year.
Good experience just a little annoyed that we paid for a "photo pass" and nobody took pictures. Its sounds like a good idea, pay someone and then they take pictures of your family. Not a single picture taken on a slow night where there may have been 20 other people. No attempt made, emailed cathis farms and no response. If you take money for the upcharge, at least try and complete it. We did have a good time overall. Update, got contacted from Cathis and offered a 2nd attempt. Thank you for Stephanie for making it right! Hopefully we can make it back before end of holiday season
The ordering is done via their website. Then you can pick up or get delivery. I was not aware that they don’t have a physical store building on their farm, but Mr. David and his wife were there to help me get my goodies even though they didn’t have the eggs in hand they went above and beyond to provide their services and do so without me waiting another week(that’s their delivery time frame). They grabbed me FRESH literally picked during the time I was waiting eggs. This family veteran owned farm is awesome! They have all sorts of goodies ranging from dog treats, soaps, and meat options, as well as eggs. I was so excited about finding farm fresh local eggs, that I couldn’t wait for breakfast and had them for a snack. They did not disappoint. They provide delivery all you need to do is place your cooler outside and they do the rest. Way better than those subscription services because they are local and the family ensures you get the best products. I have shared my experience with my other neighbors and will continue to share. Farm fresh is just better. They are super helpful, the services they offer are very convenient and if you don’t want to do delivery you can also drive on their listed days and pick up from their farm. I am excited to try their ground beef and keep the eggs coming! 😂 shop local, farm owned, and sustainably.
This place is great! Are you sick of the expensive, sad looking meats at the grocery store? Then you definitely need to buy your meats here. You won't be disappointed. They have a great variety, and everything I have tried is yummy. I can't even eat meats from other places anymore. They just don't taste as good as here. We only buy from CATHIS Farms. The family that owns this place is so sweet, and we have to start supporting our local farmers more often.
My son lives in TN and buys beef from a farm in GA. It is incredible. Because of this I found Cathis Farm and after waiting for their beef to become available I ordered about $500 of steaks, predominantly rib eye. What a disappointment. The steaks have no marbling and are as tough as leather. I cook mine to 135 and my wife’s to 145. Both come out the same. The first time I cooked them I didn’t marinade them. The second time I did because I hoped it would help. Same result - didn’t help. I now have a bunch of steaks that neither of us want to eat. Needless to say, I won’t be a return customer.
