Cartwright's Market is a local grocery store that offers a wide selection of high-quality meats, fresh produce, and a variety of deli items. The market also features a growler bar with an extensive selection of beers and ciders, making it a one-stop shop for food and beverages. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the quality of the products, although some have noted concerns about pricing and service.
Totally in love with this place. Excellent meat selection, yummy delicious, and fabulous fresh produce. Bakery items are too good, and sauces and seasonings are flavorful with tons of options. The store feels a bit small during peak hours but the freshness of everything is undeniable. The staff is absolutely phenomenal and friendly. I've never had anyone exercise such careful consideration in choosing just the right steak for me. 100% loyal customer now!
Really nice layout, clean grocery store excellent meat department, huge selection also a large selection of beer and beer on tap. I ordered the daily special tri-tip sandwich more to be desired for the price it could’ve been much better hence the four star review
This is how much turkey came on my make your own sandwich. What a rip off. 30$ for 2 half sandwiches and fries and this is what you can expect to get.
Today I was at Asante-Roge hospital for some test, and when I got done, I asked some of the folks there if there was a really good sandwich shop in this town, and a number of folks said that if I looking for quality ingredients and really bread to go over to Cartwright's Market! I asked those folks if it was better than Jersey Nike's subs and everyone said that Cartwright was way better, than I ask about the price, and they all said that they're about the same, and next I asked about the size, and everyone said that Cartwright makes a bigger sandwich, so we went Cartwright's Market: C4005 #3404 14:52:01 13OCT2025 S00002 R006 and drop $38.00 on two sandwiches. The sandwiches were of nice size. The ingredients were great and just about the proper amount of everything. The bread was fresh, and had a great flavor. They did forget a few of the sandwiches ingredients on both sandwiches, and they did bring a few ingredients that they forgot in both sandwiches, but still forgot one item on one of the sandwiches! Overall, the next time that I'm back jn that area I will be stopping in there again for a sandwich, and no more Jersey Mike's for me from the Medford area now that I found out about Cartwright's Market !!!!
Good stuff and helpful staff but my god the prices here are crazy town. Probably last time I shop there as I can get similar USDA steaks for about 40% less elsewhere.
I like the pared down menu at the deli. I feel for the price, they should include a deli salad or fries with the non-burger items they sell. They might just have the best chicken wings in town!
Cartwright’s Market is totally a step up from any place I have ever been to. We first visited to line up some nice steaks for the grill. Weather was going to be great and we were ready to do the outside stuff. One doesn’t go to a meat counter and pick up packages of plastic wrapped meat. The first thing we see upon entering is a long display of great looking meats and fish. Behind this counter is a crew waiting to show you the goods and help you make the right selection. No real bargains here but I felt really right about what I bought and what I spent. Then the icing on the cake. We strolled over to an area that was not evident when we were shopping finding a busy deli and cheese counter. One more turn to the left and there was the most expansive selection of beers and ciders I have ever encountered. Another peek left and whoa a row of taps that boggled the mind. There one can fill a growler or sample a glass of a range of cold ones. On our next visit ( yes we hurried back) we hit the deli for lunch where I had a steak sandwich I was sure was very similar to one I recently raved about when reviewing Cartwrights Tap House in Grants Pass. Restaurant quality from a counter in a market. All worth the trip,,,
Ample parking, well maintained and cleanly. A wonderful selection of meat, beer and bakery stuffs, not to mention fairly decent tap and pizza cafeteria style eatery on sight. A nice place. 9/10 will be back again
The prices for top quality meat are reasonable! Excellent selection, even has chicken feet for my dog. I want wait to make some Pirate Bacon Crack, Pirate Jerky and a nice trip tip.
Overly inflated prices. Cashiers aren't very friendly. Bakery is slightly above average. The cake now has corn syrup added! Red dyes....stick with Curly Top Bakery (which cartrights does sell). Steaks are decent but overpriced. Overall, I'd recommend that you spend your money somewhere else.
I thought I'd have to go through this summer without my beloved Lemondrop melons because my usual place to buy them closed, but I found 5 gorgeous end of season melons here and my summer was saved! Also, their prepared foods are …
Went to Cartwrights Market for the first time today. Julia who manages the deli ordered me some specialty cheese. She did a good job keeping informed when it would arrive. Their deli case is beautiful and the employees are so nice. I will definitely go back after the holiday for more cheese and something out of the deli case.
waited over 5 minutes in the deli dept, No hello I will be right with you. After waiting I went to the butcher dept to ask for help did not get help from there. I work retail and wholesale I will at least acknowledge the customer and let …
Cartwright’s is a local treasure! They offer top-quality products, but the real highlight for me is the kitchen, deli, and especially the growler bar. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The beertenders really know their stuff and …
Wow! I've been shopping at three different stores combined each week to get all our organic food & groceries. I finally went into this Cartwrights last week and was amazed! I can get 99% of our grocery list here (produce, meat, essentials). Highly recommend!
They have an employee who doesn’t wash hands, & eats over & off of customer orders. It’s anti sanitary and against health code. There was also a 2 week period the deli had no hand soap despite letting management know, an employee finally …
Always a great experience. Friendly and helpful staff, and the store is kept tidy and well stocked. Keep up the great job. 👍 …
Never a bad experience at the deli counter! Veggie sandwich is the best sub I’ve had around. Big location with giant butcher shop, organic fresh vegetables and elevated grocery fair. One stop shop tucked toward the center of Medford. Worth to travel out of the way to shop, eat or both.
John who works at the butcher counter is very informative and friendly. As long as he works there I will be a returning customer. Their quality of food is great at well.
They have an amazing array of beers. The bar staff in the person of Megan is the reason that I have responded in this format. Her personal feelings made me uncomfortable and her lack of service skills unfortunately gives this place a failing grade. By the way she tried to double charge me.
