Carroll's Meat Shoppe Seafood & Produce Market

This is a hidden gem in Jax. I spent 2 years thinking it was closed, but it wasn't. Once we finally went in, we can't go more than 3 days without going to grab something. Here's what we have enjoyed the most so far: 1. Ready-to-bake loaded potato. Holy wow! BEST baked potato EVER! I don't know what Ms. Erin puts in them, but they are the best we've ever had. Always ready to take home and bake for 35 min. 2. I might use BEST a little too often in this review, but "Erin's Famous Cole Slaw" is famous for a reason. It instantly became my favorite coleslaw. I may or may not be slightly addicted to it. 3. There's nothing like the smell of their 24-hr smoked brisket on Saturday at 12:30pm. Holy smokes! 4. Smoked ribs! Adam makes these 21'hr smoked ribs that just fall off the bone and make you want a whole rack. 5. Their main products are fresh meat, fresh fish, produce, eggs, etc (I just happen to be a fan of the "already made" food. Prices are fantastic, especially in this economy. 6. The best part of it all is that they are super friendly and just great people. You'll find two Adams and one Erin most of the time, and they're great! We eat too fast and never get pics of this food, but yeah, it's goooooood. I'll update with pics later, if I remember. Thank you Erin, Adam, and Adam!!!! So thankful to have a local, small business like yours accross the street! You guys make this neighborhood awesome!

Great place to get fresh meats and close to me place for some quick needs like veggies, sauces, cheeses, etc. Has smoked cooked meats for sale as well like brisket, pork, chicken. Can also get catering and holiday meats. Nice staff, good prices, takes EBT. Check it out!!!

Today I ate the best beef brisket of my life. And I got it not in a restaurant, but in a meat shop. They just finished cooking and pulled brisket from a smoker. And offered me to try it. Honestly, I was shocked at how good that meat was. I rarely promote any store, but this one. .. so this is Carroll's Meat Shoppe. Will be back for sure

Great selection of meats and sausags, homemade canned goods, and candies . I always get the thick cut smoked pork chops , sausage and a few canned gems. The only complaint, I bought over $100 of goods, yet they provide no free ice, had to buy my own.

The quality of the beef meat is outstanding. I bought some ribeyes for a BBQ with friends and I left them speechless

Don't go to your grocery store for meats. Go to this store. Way cheaper and the quality is best. As soon as you walk in the store, there's a smoky bbq smell that hits your nose and makes you want whatever it is. It's their smoked whole chicken. In the meat case where the butcher is, they have this twice baked potatoes that is almost as big as you head. I suggest you get that. Oh, and I shop here to get my beef ribs cut Korean style here. Today I found ox tail so I can make Korean style soup with it. Everything is fresh and they are helpful here. By the way, they take EBT if you're wondering.

The Manager who helped us, was not afraid to talk with us. She answered all my questions and explained their business operates on happy customers.

The brisket is better than any restaurant. I love the 8.99 filet mignon. I take it home and cook to perfection. The price for meat cuts are great.

A very good butcher/store to pick up different types of meat.

Nice place, enjoyed the product so far. About 35 minutes from our house but worth the drive. We'll be going back!
