This little hidden gem has incredible pepperoni and jerky. My family has been taking me there since I was a kid, and I had a chance to bring my own family there today. Highly recommend it if you find yourself on the way to/from the west side of the state. Worth the little detour, plus Roslyn is a quaint little place to walk around and enjoy some historic buildings 🙂. PS - go for the honey garlic jerky!
I love stopping here whenever I visit Roslyn. The peppered jerk is very tasty and my favorite thing to get!
Anything you buy out of that case is going to be the best of whatever (jerky, pepperoni, landjaeger, smoked ribs, smoked bratwurst) you choose to buy. There’s three jerky places I recommend in this entire country and I’ve loved Carek’s the longest. This is NOT commercial product, this is old time goodness that I shouldn’t even tell you about except I want them to stay in business. So head in and give these folks your money!!! Let’s keep this gem in business!!!
If you haven't tried it and you like meat then this is the spot to hit. The very best fresh jerky and meat sticks. Thanks for treating my belly right ever time.
Best sausages around. Reasonably priced too for the quality you get. Plus there's the historical appeal. And the staff are nice.
Excellent selection of Artisan cured meats and sausage’s. This is a great little store that has been around for over 100 years in the small town of Roslyn. Only ran by 2 people they provide fantastic service happy to help anyone with any questions on the different flavors of jerky and meat sticks.
Carek's is not to be missed. Don't spend too much time thinking about it, just make the detour off of 90 and your life will be forever changed. Dirty Jerky is our favorite but we've yet to be disappointed by a single thing (langjaeger! pepperoni!)

Great little unknown business in the town of Roslyn,Wa. If you love pepperoni and/or beef jerky than you have to venture the 10 minutes off exit 80 on interstate 90 to the cute little town of Roslyn.
Great selection of jerkey & links. Our favorite place to stop at when in Cle Elum.
