Capaldi Ranch is a charming 43-acre farm located in Paso Robles, California, offering a unique experience with farm animals and cozy Airbnb accommodations. The ranch features a variety of animals including alpacas, goats, and pigs, and provides educational tours for visitors to enjoy the joys of country living. Additionally, they promote their dry-farmed almonds and the simple pleasures of rural life.
My nieces, sister and I had the best time visiting the alpacas, goats, pony, chickens, turkeys, pigs, and Blue! It was such an amazing and memorable experience I wish we could have stayed longer, the views are gorgeous, Kim was a great guide and also got a chance to meet Daphne. It was a pleasure meeting them and we can't wait to visit again! I would highly recommend and encourage those to visit when in the area.
My second time at the Ranch, and it never disappoints. The animals are just the cutest - excellent therapy when you need some joy! Blue the doggie is the best greeter, and I can never get enough of the alpacas. Kim was a wonderful, friendly, funny guide who you could tell cared greatly for the Ranch and the animals. I'll definitely be back!
On a recent family vacay to Paso Robles, my wife booked a tour of Capaldi Ranch and it turned out to be fun for all ages! Who doesn’t love farm animals? We had the opportunity to meet alpacas, a miniature horse, goats, chickens, turkeys and pigs. My personal favorite were the alpacas because they were soft to the touch (as long as you don’t pet their heads) and so photogenic. Kim was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, humorous and basically the best guide you could ask for! If you need to take a break from wine tasting, I highly recommend a visit to Capaldi Ranch.
We had a such a fantastic and informational tour. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and really accommodated to our kid’s needs. We will absolutely visit again and look forward to another beautiful day at the ranch.
My daughter is absolutely obsessed with Llamas/alpacas so we took a family weekend vacation to this beautiful working ranch and everything was wonderful! Daphne was quick to answer any and all questions any time of the day/night. The RV was fully stocked and clean, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking from our airBnB. We got to wake up to a bunch of alpacas surrounding our car which was an awesome experience! We took a tour around the ranch and got to visit and feed all the animals and my kids even got to help feed the animals dinner and breakfast. Amazing experience for my family and I. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! We hope to visit again real soon!
Had an amazing experience at this ranch with Daphne. I was looking for something to do in Paso and came across this ranch. You need to make advance reservations for this ranch. However, we weren’t aware of this and luckily, Daphne was able to let us in when we were at the door. It is $10/person admission. We spent about 1.5-2hrs here. Got to walk around an Alpaca. The dogs and goats even walked around with us. A lot of friendly animals like the Alpaca, goats, chicken, rooster, and horses. Daphne was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
Quick weekend get away! This year we needed a stress free summer vaca. I highly recommend the "Spacious 38' RV on alpaca ranch" the view was amazing! Sun rise was spectacular but I enjoyed sunset even more! RV was Super Clean!!! It had everything we needed! Didn't have to ask the staff for anything. Super, low stress, easy going feel of this place, made some wonderful memories for the Fam! Morning farm fresh eggs, coffee and sunrise were awesome (only one of them wasn't included in the price). Waking up with the ranch animals and going to bed early was a nice change of pace. The alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens (and our alarm clock roosters) cats and dogs. We're all super friendly and nice. Staff was very pleasant, friendly and just the right amount of interaction (some places they are overly friendly and into your business). This review is my own feels and not related to the Air BnB system (the wife takes care of that one). While you are here, we loved Cass winery and Firestone Brewery! Also highly recommend Sculpterra! We've traveled all around the world and this has become one of our favorite spots!
Absolutely recommended, lovely super-responsive hosts, and a bunch of farm animals. Alpacas, chickens, goats, pigs, dogs and more!
Daphne was super gracious and accomodating when we got rained out the day of our tour. She generously offered to give us a tour when they weren't typically open to public. Daphne & Mason run a wonderful ranch, the alpacas & sheep, goats are so cute! We had the best time there she showed us how yarn is made! Our kids loved it.
Stunning farm and THE BEST animals! I can’t wait to go back!!
