⭐⭐⭐ (3 stars) A once-great butcher shop that’s lost its spark I started coming to this butcher shop just before Tony, the owner, fell ill and was hospitalized. Let me tell you, Tony and his wife were the heart and soul of this place. They were warm, passionate, and treated every customer like family. They’d explain where the meat came from, how it was processed, and why it was top-quality, often handing out samples and chatting with my kids. The meat itself? Absolutely stellar—fresh, flavorful, and clearly sourced with care. Those visits were a highlight for us. But since Tony and his wife have been away, the shop has taken a nosedive. The new person running things just isn’t cutting it (pun intended). The meat quality has dropped so much that I can’t justify buying here anymore—it’s nowhere near the standard we loved. Worse, the customer service has tanked. On my last visit, the employee was glued to a personal phone call for a solid 30 minutes while I stood there, waiting to be helped. Is it really that hard to pause a call and ring up a customer? It’s basic courtesy. I’m rooting for Tony and his wife to return and bring back the magic, but until then, this shop isn’t worth the trip. If you’re reading this, management, please get it together—your customers deserve better.

The customer service is top tier. The quality of the meats is also top tier. I will forever buy my meat here.

They are great. The city has messed up their parking lot. They are trying to make the best of it!!

Tony and Pennie are Wonderful people. Good prices for their meats that are not full of fillers and preservatives . Just all around meat. We buy their whole beef and go pick it up as we’ll need it.They package it as we want it. They do sell several kinds of meat. Give them a try. I think you’ll agree with me.

Amazing “We will survive “ specials! The massive chicken breasts and prime rib are worth the drive and holiday worthy. Stop in and purchase dog bones .They even have meals cooked on a smoker outside at lunch (they don’t last long !)

Nice local butcher. Serves box meals too; great food.

Bought 4 filets and brought them home. Cooked them on the pellet grill and these are by far the best steaks I’ve bought. Don’t even have to chew, they just fall apart. Will be back.

BEWARE! Once you try C&P’s filets you will never order a steak at a steakhouse again. The absolute best filets in town!

The best quality meat with great service!

I purchased a prime rib for the holidays. The meat was excellent, but the inside of the store was very unappealing and dirty. Will not be going back.
