Well first off its in the middle of nowhere, secondly its worth the trip. Very cool spot super clean nice selection of high end steaks and custom made sausages, pastrami and snack sticks.
The smell of this store is amazing. Just as amazing as the meats. Lots of odds and ends trinkets and spices, as well as a vast array of meats and misc food items.
Stopped by today to see what they had on hand. Picked up a Ribeye Fillet in chiller cabinet. Dry aged 45 days which translated to a FANTASTIC steak dinner. A flavour of which I haven’t enjoyed in a long long time. Tender (cooked rare/medium rare) and very little more seasoning than a fairly simple rub. The marbling was just right with no spot overwhelming the meat itself. They are very welcoming and experts in what they sale. I look forward to visiting again. Pricing I would say is on par considering the dry aged nature, lovely marbling, and perfect cut. Full marks and I look forward to stopping by again.

Saw their ad ,liked what I saw and took a drive out there. I was on my motorcycle so I was limited in how much I could carry. I bought some big beef ribs ( 2 packages) , 4 packs of their snack sticks ,which are fantastic, and a couple of jars of rub for seasoning those ribs . I wish I had more room but that just means I'll have to go back. Great selection of meats and sausages.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! My husband and I visited for the first time today and were delighted with the service and quality of all the meats. We bought a couple prime ribeyes, and oh my!!! Smoked them on the Traeger then seared them with bourbon butter sauce and I can’t wait to do it again! Shout out to Alemaya Farm in Capay Valley for the nutrient dense oh so flavorful amazing veggies!!! Thanks Buckhorn Meat Co! Y’all got it goin’ on. ❤️❤️
