We recently purchased a meat hog from Buck Creek Farms and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The bacon was a standout, seasoned to perfection with an ideal meat-to-fat ratio, (being very meaty) that made each slice a true delight. During our farm visit, they were incredibly welcoming and took the time to show us around, sharing their passion for raising quality livestock. We got to cuddle and rub piglet bellies and got loved on by the older pigs. Overall, our experience with Buck Creek Farms was exceptional. We have bought pork chops from Carol a few times and loved them. I recently bought some from my neighbor at the farmer’s market here in Tn expecting them to be about the same. Boy, what a huge difference! We were so disappointed in what we bought. The quality, taste, size, color was totally different. We will be loading up from Carol when we go back to KY! The quality in Carol’s pork is hands down the best we have ever had. Lesson learned!
Kenny and Carol are awesome, we got piglets from them and couldn’t be happier, they helped us out anytime we had questions, being new to farming let alone raising our own piglets we had a lot of questions, Carol took time every time to guide us through, now we have freezer full of quality meat that came from Buck Creek Farms! thank you so very much, couldn’t done it without you guys!!! While visiting Carol and Kenny last fall we had bacon for breakfast every morning from one of their hogs they butchered. It was the best bacon I've ever tasted! Not at all like store bought, which is mostly fat. Their bacon is mostly meat and flavorful, OMG! LOVED IT! Thanks guys!
If you want well cared for, heathy hogs with great temperaments, then you have found the right farm! We bought two gilts last weekend and are already taking about buying more 😆. Carole and Kenny are helpful, knowledgeable and just good people. …
We worked on a fence project for Kenny and Carol, and got a tour of the farm. These animals have to be some of the happiest in the state, with an incredible amount of space to roam and graze on a farm that's like a little piece of paradise! Highly recommend dropping by for a tour!
We had purchased two hogs from them. They were knowledgeable and extremely helpful with all our questions and concerns. I highly recommend working with them!
