Trail can be a challenge during the summer. Bring sufficient water.

Great place for hiking, partially covered wide hiking paths. Note if parking is full don't park on the main street as police do ticket occasionally.
I've been coming to the ranch off and on for 30 years. It is unique and beautiful with much to offer.
Actually this ranch is private but the best hike in San Diego borders the ranch.
