Every steak I've bought at Blue River Meats is the best I've ever cooked. Yesterday they cut 2 filets for me. Again FANTASTIC. Recently someone opened a steakhouse in Ashland, buying meat from a ranch out west. The steak I got there was a 6, someone should do the same in Crete with steaks from Blue River Meats. I'm always impressed, make the drive you will too.

I love Blue River Meats so much I make the trip from Lincoln to Crete just to restock my freezer. It's delicious and the staff is very knowledgeable and ready to help if you need something.

Great place to go, to get meats. They helped us out by slicing up our ham for us. We bought the smoked beef brisket, it is amazing we went back and got more for our family. Good meat, good prices, and friendly service. My husband loves the beef jerky! Great place to go for meat!

We buy most of our meat from blue river meats, it's worth the drive from Lincoln. Small little shop, with high quality products at reasonable prices. Not substantially cheaper, but we like to shop local businesses when it makes sense. My husband is really into smoking and curing meats and they've always either had or been able to get whatever chunk of muscle he's looking for. I wanted to write a review today because hubs sent me to pick up a brisket. I don't usually pick out the meats, I have no idea what I'm looking at. I asked at the counter for a 10-12lb brisket and the butcher cut me one special while I waited and then I left. Little did I know, I had brought home the most beautiful chunk of cow my husband had ever seen. So if a butcher were to sell inferior products, you'd think it would be my clueless self--but no. They're the best.

The ribeye steaks are the best I've had. I also love their jerky. The Firehouse Style is my favorite. Good meats, great people!

Great Meat Market, and a lovely drive to Crete! Some of the best Jerkey and bacon I have ever had! Don't know about everything else, that is all I bought!

I am a meat snob but like value. You can get both here. Good quality products that are little more that the big chan retailers but less cost than many. For the quality of product definetely value. The local made bacon is top notch.

Ethen and Ryan had processed a wild boar for me in April of 2021, turned out GREAT! This year, August 2022, I had them smoke 10 pounds of my Alaskan King Salmon, I picked it up this morning and having some on my fresh sliced tomatoes from my back yard. Very high quality cuts that are very reasonably priced, and great friendly service. One of the very few shops that I know of that offers Delmonico, and ages all of their cuts.

Bought a lot of meat from these guys and never had a problem. Even stayed open late once so my Wife could get there and buy some steaks.

We bought there hamburger 🍔 and it is some of the best I have eaten. Better an any super market give them a try you will not be disappointed …
